Back in August 2023 we had the privilege to work in this stunning glasshouse and adorn the tables set for hundreds of guests with an abundance of floral centrepieces, bud vases and tall elegant taper candles.
The effect of wall to wall flowers and perfectly paired candles with the natural table linens in the rambling backdrop of the glasshouse greenery was pure magic and the colour palette of soft ivories, whites and muted warm blush couldn’t have been more perfect for this day.
It was August, it was a hot day (after the rain stopped) and it’s essentially a greenhouse albeit the most beautiful you will likely ever see, so you can imagine our clammy faces as we spent the morning setting up this gorgeous scene.
We transported all the flowers down to the venue two days before the event, set up studio in the barn and it took a team of 4 of us over 3 days working outside to bring this all together, including ceremony installations and bridal party flowers. We even had the fun of trying to fix leaky urns, but the florists tool kit is a Mary Poppins bag of all things required to avoid a crisis of any kind, so avoid one we did! And it was beautiful.
