Meet Ells (they/she) 💜 Videographer & Co-Founder of Rebel Love Directory ⚡

Ells is our visual creator behind all things Rebel Love Directory, the wedding fair and Rebel Love Club. As a storyteller by trade, they've taken us all on a journey to make it look the way it does. A nice time to plug though as they'll be teaming up to elevate these brands to a whole new level... exciting things coming.

You may also recognise Ells as the face behind a lot of our reels, they fancy themselves as a comedian sometimes with an edge of educational seriousness. Ells is Steff's biggest supporter, always in her corner and helping to drive our brand. You'll no doubt see Ells at the wedding fair - they'll be the one with the cheesiest grin and no doubt going out of their way to help whoever they can on the day.

Everyone should be a bit more Ells.

Meet Steff (she/they) 💜 Photographer and Co-Founder of Rebel Love Directory ⚡

Steff is quite literally the brains behind the operation, not only is she a phenomenal photographer that platforms all the Q***r joy, she is the driving force behind Rebel Love Directory and now, this amazing wedding fair.

Creating the directory and planning the wedding fair has been no small feat, when you're Q***r and constantly having to justify why a space like this is needed, it can be incredibly exhausting. But she never let's the Barrys and Steves dampen her tenacious fiery spirit and continues to get the word out about all our incredible LGBTQ+ inclusive wedding suppliers.

Meet Kirsten (she/her) 💜 Stylist & Wedding Design Extraordinaire!

Kirsten is the creative mastermind behind and she'll be stepping in to help make Rebel Love Wedding Fair look incredible!

We have worked with Kirsten on a number of things over the last couple of years and are extremely excited to be working with her on the Wedding Fair.

The plan is to have 3 table-scapes laid out through out the venue, so, YOU our esteemed guests, can get a real idea as to how our suppliers work could look, feel and even smell like on your actual day!

Why do we vet all of our suppliers? 🖤⚡

⚡ We vet suppliers before accepting them onto our directory for several important reasons. Firstly, our top priority is the safety and well-being of our LGBTQ+ to-be-weds. By thoroughly vetting suppliers, we can ensure that they are genuinely inclusive and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. This includes verifying that they have policies and practices in place to respect individuals' pronouns, identities, and relationships, as well as providing a safe and welcoming environment for all couples.

⚡ Additionally, vetting suppliers allows us to ensure that they are genuine allies who are actively engaged in their allyship. It's not enough for suppliers to simply claim to be LGBTQ+ inclusive; they must demonstrate their commitment through tangible actions and ongoing support for LGBTQ+ rights and equality. This may include participating in LGBTQ+ advocacy, attending training or education sessions on LGBTQ+ issues, and actively promoting diversity and inclusion within their business practices.

🖤 Ultimately, vetting suppliers helps us maintain the integrity and authenticity of our directory, ensuring that LGBTQ+ to-be-weds can trust that they are choosing suppliers who will not only provide excellent service but also create a safe and inclusive space for their special day. This commitment to vetting suppliers is vital in creating a wedding industry that celebrates all love and upholds the values of equality, respect, and inclusivity.

How to be an LGBTQ+ inclusive supplier 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

1. Include and represent a diverse range of lovers across your website & social media
2. Remove outdated & gendered language and use gender neutral language to ensure everyone feels included.
3. Actively share content, seek out education and listen to LGBTQ+ creators, really get involved with the community and put in the work to learn.
4. Share your pronouns at every opportunity - this isn't for you, this is for your prospective customers to know that you are possibly a safe space.

Implementing these steps is a solid starting point for becoming an LGBTQ+ inclusive supplier, but it's important to recognise that inclusivity is an ongoing journey. Being an ally to the LGBTQ+ community requires continuous learning, growth, and adaptation, regardless of one's own sexual orientation or gender identity. Simply being Q***r does not automatically make someone an active ally or inclusive supplier.
