Hot off the back of our busiest dj month ever, which was the only month we’ve had gigs in 2023, we now have the biggest booking we’ve ever had. As a duo. It’s the biggest booking of 3 bookings. It’s like being the best looking dj on a juicy line up. 👀

When J***y used the medium of podcasts to give views no one wanted to hear on the hard house scene he was always in praise of what the people behind the shed sessions were doing and what they were building. They still didn’t book him though. Anyway we digress. The Shed has become synonymous (look it up) with fun. And over the last few years they’ve added hosting quality nights with a core roster of djs that have grown from strength to strength. It’s the hottest brand in hard house right now.

Doncaster warehouse is one of the few remaining iconic rave venues left. We absolutely can’t wait to see it in all its glory as we play to our usual tens of people. It’ll be busy for other djs we’re sure.

And speaking of other djs, we really feel like we’re standing on the shoulder of giants here. The flyer really is a thing of beauty. From a design standpoint point and the djs that adorn it. It’s packed wall to wall with quality.

August is a while away and you’re going to hear us bang on for 8 solid months how much we’re excited about this gig and it may just seem like we’re towing the line from the promoters but we genuinely are. And from a personal view we’re super happy that the hard work we’ve put in creating mixes, pushing our brand and two solid sets has done nothing to get us here. Instead a long talk and a ha***ob in a dirty Corby toilet did the job. Thanks Jon Hemming and the team.

We’ve got a long way to go before this monumental party.

To think almost 10 years ago the “shed sessions” was born. Only a few will remember that this little project was just me in my new tiny shed playing house and techno. The original mix series from back then is still available on mixcloud. They are not to shabby. But my god they are a long way from where we are now.

After a couple years doing my thing in the new shed I came accross Facebook live!
S**t got real very fast.
I was one of the only people in my Facebook friends community doing the live thing. The quality was s**t and the audio was not much better. Then as technology progressed so did the music, the community and the opportunities.
The big shift for me happened after one time at a dj gig my laptop fell 10 feet off stage, all my digital music was lost, or at least at the time I thought it was. Fu***ng wa**er laptop DJ eh? 🫣 that phase of me was ended that night. However, I still had the urge to play around with the Facebook live thing so I pulled all my old hard house records out from under the bed and played them at slow bpms live to Facebook. I fu***ng kid you not. Within 3 weeks I went from 10 live views to 1000 views followed by every hard house dj and producer watching me mix badly in my tiny shed. Then to be invited to Tidy Trax hq for a live set (still available somewhere). The week after I was sundissential resident, week after that wax format resident. Then played gatecrasher, good grief and every other dream brand a budding dj could ever want to play. The stars had miraculously aligned.
Meanwhile every week the shed sessions was evolving and growing. It went from me and a couple close mates going live to what is now 7 shed DJs touring the country with dj bookings and our own club events. We have a dedicated family of supporters and a community I often poor my heart out to week in week out. The shed has offered up so much joy, not only for me, but my friends and my family. The shed is 10 years old next year, wow!! Time flies when you are having fun. We are putting on a huuuuuuge warehouse rave. With massive dj talent across 3 rooms.. fancy joining us to celebrate?
