I would like to introduce you all to Sophie who will be taking over the day to day running of Amy’s Attic.

As most of you are aware I have struggled to keep on top of the hire business so I have handed over the reigns to one of our fabulous teachers who will be able to focus more on our hire department.

Sophie now has access to all emails and Facebook messages so she will be in touch to follow up on existing bookings or future enquiries.

We will also be changing the way we issue invoices as we are now VAT registered.

Finally we are excited to add a huge number of new costumes very soon and a new online catalogue is in the making.

Thank you for your patience over the last few years and we are excited to be able to offer you a better service with Sophie now on board!

Hello Everyone!

We have been MIA for nearly a year now. For anyone who doesn’t know I am also the principal over at Freedom Performing Arts and to say we have had a busy year would be an understatement.

We have opened a new studio, qualified for DWC, had exams, comps, shows and performances etc so to be honest the hire side of our business has taken a back seat.

As mentioned in previous posts we have never let anyone down and have only taken on bookings we know we can fulfil. Communication is slow and I’m fully aware how frustrating this can be being a teacher myself. I’m hoping to be taking on an extra member of staff to speed things up and also add our 100s of new costumes to our account. (I know we have said this before but it’s actually happening this time!)

Tomorrow is my admin day so I will respond to those people in my inbox waiting for a response then.

I hope everyone is well and has had a fab 12 months! ⭐️

Hello everyone!

It’s been nearly a year since we last posted on the grid and I thought it was time so I can update everyone on why communication is so slow at the moment.

For those of you who don’t know I’m also the principal of my own school so Amy’s Attic isn’t my first job it’s an addition to our busy dance school. (Freedom Performing Arts)

The last 6 months have been absolutely crazy as we signed a lease to a new studio, moved our costumes from the lock up we had to the new building. During all of this we had our full school show with 300 students, exams, comps, festivals and this is all while doing a full scale renovation on a grade II listed building!

I know that I am really slow replying to messages & emails and I also completely understand how this can put added stress and worry on teachers trying to costume their shows/events. I have been in situations myself where suppliers have stopped communication and costumes haven’t arrived so I understand the panic!

Even through this unbelievably busy period we have still delivered all costumes ahead of time and not let anyone down. I have also said no to orders if I know I can’t accommodate it in time.

I’m hoping to take on a dedicated member of staff in September and we will have 100s of new costumes on the hire pages when we finally open our new building and all the costumes are sorted.

All current orders and enquiries still stand and if you’re waiting for a reply I will get back to you ASAP!

I hope you all understand and I’m really looking forward to getting the costume hire up and running to a better service come September!

New Costumes!!! 💫

Well after a VERY BUSY summer with my own dance school Freedom Performing Arts we are ready to start adding all of our new costumes to the hire collection.

I will be in our costume lock up tomorrow sorting everything out and adding new items to the FB page including prices, quantities & sizes… so watch this space!

It’s been a crazy busy time these last 2 weeks in the run up to our show but it all went amazingly well and are now back to it and ready to help costume your shows!! Lots of new stock coming too so watch this space…

Hello!! 👋🏻

We have been quiet for soooo long but we are back and now taking bookings for March onwards.
