We are your dog's very one plus one, there to make sure they are well cared for and can join in with the fun. What's more, although we are based in Lancashire, we can travel the country to ensure your day is Pawfect!

We provide you with a stress-free option for pe

t care on your big day. From the beginning we help you plan how to involve them in the process, whether that be just for photos and to meet guests, or those all important ring bearer duties, we are there to ensure a lovely, fun experience for everyone. With over fifteen years experience working with dogs and other animals, and over 200 weddings under our belts, your dogs will be in safe hands, we ensure their welfare is a top priority.

We are fully insured, have a certificate in canine first aid, and have a number of accredited behaviour courses under our belts. We now have an award for Highly Commended in the special touch category at the The Wedding Industry awards 2024.

The best part is we love dogs! And what better way to celebrate this than to help you enjoy your wedding day with your furry family members!

The bestest boy on Thursday was 🥹

He posed for photos like a natural and isn’t he such a handsome young lad?!

We then stayed at his home after a nice frosty walk then he was off for a sleepover with his grandad ❤️

What a bloody insane 6 months 😵

It’s finally slowed down after weddings kicked off in March…
🐾 87 weddings attended by myself, Martin and Lauren
🐾 so many new venues visited and returning to some of my favourites
🐾 an awful lot of towel washing and probably a tonne of treats handed out
🐾 a highly commended award from
🐾 over 100 bookings taken for the next 2 years meaning we’re all but booked up for that time!
🐾 in excess of 10,000 miles covered, from Northumberland to Wrexham to Derbyshire and Sheffield!

On top of that, on a personal note, we bought our first house 🏡

A huge thank you to everyone for their patience with me as I get to grips with being busier than ever, and to those beautiful humans who have left reviews and recommended me ❤️

I may be a bit quiet this week, I have a wedding on Thursday but the rest of the week will be chill time 😆

Vincent and Margot are both puppies believe it or not and smashed their duties walking the bride through the botanical gardens to her husband to be ❤️
They posed for photos until Vincent decided to be a typical puppy and get giddy and stubborn 😂😂

So there’s been a lot of new followers this last couple of weeks, so here’s a little post about little old Annabel and Pawfect Occasions ❤️

🐾 I’m Annabel and I live and breathe all things dog! I even have a list of breeds I’d love to accompany to a wedding (Samoyed, Chow Chow and Irish wolfhound anyone? To name a few!).
🐾 Previous to the weddings I was a dog Walker. Not going to lie, despite spending all day with amazing dogs, I got very sick of mud, my car being ruined and irritating members of the public 😂
🐾 I set up Pawfect Occasions in 2019 as a part time thing alongside spending time with my kids and dogs. Fast forward nearly 5 years, I’m full time and have attended way over 200 weddings 😃
🐾 my favourite part of the wedding day is definitely helping your dogs carry out their duties and ring bearers. It’s bloody well cute 🥰
🐾 I am naturally a shy and anxious person, but I do think the wedding industry has brought out a confident side in me!

And to top it off, she has the coolest cat brother in Harry! I’ve never met such a friendly cat, he even slept in bed with me 🐱

Guys…I NEED a corgi. Ever since I spent the day with Moka here at I’ve begged Martin every single day and he won’t let me 😭😭😭

So whilst I work my magic, I can only hope there’s couples that are getting married and have a corgi I can surrogate parent for the day 🥹 I will genuinely offer a discount and travel anywhere!!

🐾 I’m a lover of all animals, we have three border collies and a tortoise. I’d really love a corgi though!
🐾 I have a Lego obsession (some may say problem)
🐾 I have a season ticket to Bolton Wanderers with my daughter and dad
🐾 you’ll often find me at car shows or a zoo on my days off!

Pawfect Occasions offers a wedding day dog chaperone service, ensuring your beloved family pets are looked after to the highest standards, whilst you can sit back and enjoy your big day. We provide a number of packages to suit all budgets and needs, these include anything from attending the photoshoot to pamper sessions.

The dog chaperone

We are there for you and your dogs from the moment the date is booked, imparting advice gained from over 10 years of working with dogs. We don’t just turn up on the day, we liaise with the photographer and venue. We can even create bespoke training sessions, making sure your dog is able to relax and cope in a busy wedding environment; teach a self settle or a calm greeting. How about training your dog to high five your guests as they come in?
