We couldn’t recommend Louisa highly enough! She was absolutely amazing and made our dream wedding day possible. We had set ourselves a big task turning our family campsite into a wedding venue for the day but Louisa made it all run smoothly and it was even better than we could have ever imagined! Louisa was an absolute hero and thought of everything so we could just relax and enjoy the day. We’ll always be so grateful that she was part of our special day - thank you Louisa!!

I love how S&G put their stamp on their wedding day. Moving away from the ‘norm’ and bring in elements of their personalities to create the most gorgeous, happy and incredible day!

How pretty are these white parasols which the bridesmaids used throughout the day.

Hey!

A quick intro to all you lovely followers who are new to my page and curious to know who I am!
I’m Louisa, the owner of Louisa May Weddings. I’ve been Planning and Coordinating weddings for 6 yrs and as you can see from these photos (taken by one of fave photographers at a recent wedding) I LOVE what I do!!

As your planner I’m fully invested in YOU and your WEDDING.

The ultimate at home marquee wedding 💙

What a day for the fabulous J&A!

Planning a a wedding home is no easy task….

Many of my couples who are having their wedding in 2025/2026 have booked me to support them with planning their dream marquee wedding at home.
Why? The idea of a marquee wedding is just dreamy, but the moment you first sit down with your other half to start the planning it can all become slightly daunting thinking about the task ahead!

A day full of stars, moons, sunshine and so much love! 💫🧡

G&G had the most wonderful and romantic lakeside ceremony followed by a very cool and fun festival style tipi reception on their family owned campsite.
From start to finish this wedding excuded happiness, joy and laughter and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of ✨

I just LOVE how different marquee weddings can be and the flexibility you have to create that ‘wow’ factor whatever vibe you are wanting!

A couple of ideas-
• Having a beautiful and welcoming entrance- why not re use flowers from your ceremony for this?
• Think big inside the tent! Tall trees against the poles in a sail cloth tent work a treat and surprisingly easy to manoeuvre!
• Put your stamp on the day & bring in decor/ideas that are personal to you as a couple. The personalised pub sign above the bar was a brilliant idea at S&Ms beautiful marquee wedding!

Bright, bold and beautiful!
This day was full of so much happiness 🥰

A relaxed and soooooo romantic, outdoor ceremony in the woodlands was the perfect start to what was such a brilliant day.

It was a pleasure to coordinate & support the couple throughout the planning for this day.
Knowing how much work had been put into the planning, it was of the upmost importance that the overall vision for the day was brought together perfectly and that the couple could switch off and enjoy every moment with their friends, family and each other whilst knowing everything was in safe hands with me.
