Nish*t Parmar Photography Asian Wedding Photography with an emphasis on capturing all the special moments which build up to make your day memorable forever. I love weddings.

I love capturing the essence of the special moment when two people become joined as one and the love, the tenderness, the togetherness and the happiness that exudes from the couple, their family and their friends. The little smiles that the couple give to each other, the knowing glances from the parents, the laughter as they play the little games before and after the wedding ceremony (and sometime

s during it too!). I love being a part of this wonderful world. Being accepted in the families as no longer a photographer, but rather a friend or a member of the family. My style of photography is to be unobtrusive yet available and ready to capture everything that happens. To have an elegant and polished final product which will stand up to the test of time. To create visually emotive images that will either make you laugh, make you cry or simply take your breath away.

I promise you I’ve not retired. I’ve been working hard to keep editing the weddings from this year and I’m on the final stretch.

So here are some pics from Payal and Rohan’s wedding which took place at Offley place.

What do I love about weddings? The family. The little connections with your families which I try hard to photograph throughout the day.

So. I second shot this for my good friend from earlier this year.

These are just a few pics from the wicked English wedding in Central London with the party taking place at the RAC.

I promise I wasn’t fanboying the beautiful gold trophy which is awarded every year to the winner of the British F1 Grand Prix winner.

I’m a bit behind with the sharing?! Don’t hate me!

Throwing back to a couple of weeks ago and and civil wedding at the amazing !

A couple of things.

1 - if you’re going to do a champagne spray, do it like the Formula 1 and use a Magnum?! 🤯
2 - there is no such thing as too much confetti. If you think you have enough, you actually have too little. Go mad. Create a confetti storm. It’s worth it.
3 - fresh pizza is always a winner
4 - Taylor has too many songs to choose from so ask your client to pick one!

LOVED this day. We had so much fun and just the right amount of time to do the portraits in the garden area. A mix some standard ones plus some more creative ones.

The wedding that I’ve been waiting for (let alone the one you’ve been waiting for?!)

This year has been a year of opportunities which have led to some amazing experiences and connections.

When I was contacted to photograph this wedding, little did I know what I would experience.

The wonderful beauty of Norway to the warmth and openness of the wonderful families who I met.

Thank you and for trusting my team and I for photographing your wedding events. We absolutely had the best time working with you!

These are just a small selection of photos from the day!

Continuing on with Priya and Richard’s pics… here are their portraits!

I recently did a personal project of working in HOT direct sunlight to make/create stunning pictures. This really helped me when I did Priya and Richard’s portraits as the sun was most definitely SUNNING! It was a scorcher! And then we get this amazing couple who looked incredible and you just have a set of beautiful pictures with a ton of heat! 😂

Reception party is still to come but let’s enjoy these for now. 🙏

Insta hasn’t given me the update where I can share more than 10 images in a carousel, so you’re just going to have to make do with 10 pics from the wedding.

These are 10 from the morning. SO MUCH happened. So many fun pictures and memories. I could make the next 30 posts about this wedding weekend and we still would only by scratching the surface on what happened?!

Thank you Rich and Priya for allowing me to witness your wedding day. It really was an honour to be there for you. 🙏

Creative prewedding shoots. This is just a small selection of pictures from and shoot from Valencia!

I loved every moment of this shoot as it forced me to look at things differently. Using the environment to create visually interesting and quirky compositions to grab the viewer.

Don’t get me wrong… I love a good flare from a setting sunset. But equally I love the challenge of creating these types of photos too!

Can you see the couple? 😂

I love using objects to create some fun and creative photos. This was no different! Spotting a yellow cone near where we were taking some portraits, I wondered what it would look like if I held it up in front of the camera lens… and this is the output!

Some people will love this and some will not. It is quite marmite in the output but that is ok.

What do you think? Do you like it? Would you want something like this from your wedding? Would you print it and hang it on your living room wall?

Let me know in the comments!

Not sure I’m ready to share these… I’m not sure if you’re ready to see them either??

YES… this is a step away from my usual work/client - but HUGE thanks to and for trusting me! Their wedding took place at the beautiful with the party at home.

A heavy dose of black and whites with my unique colour edit. This wedding has elements of editorial, some family, some natural documentary and a sprinkle dust of portraiture.

I am so pleased with these pictures… and they’re just the previews?! Can you imagine what the final set will look like?!

I’m going to be sharing these pics for MONTHS!! 😂

If you’re looking for a photographer and want to take a chance on a random East Londoner - then drop me a message and let’s talk about your wedding plans!

Prewedding shoot throwback.

With the sun coming out it reminded me of the fun shoots I had done over the last few years. So I’m going to reshare some of my old work. Work you may have missed. Or just stuff I’ve never got round to sharing.

Starting with this picture from and prewedding shoot.

Previews from Dhruti and Richard’s wedding from Northbrook Park!

Slight delay on sharing this as I’ve been trying to work out when would be a good time. But, my dad would have always said… don’t wait.

These pics really hit home (personally) due to the stories that I was told about the family and then personally experiencing what I did.

I’ve refocused my energies on what is important and that is the memories of your wedding day through the eyes of your loved ones. With the amazing support of the different suppliers, this was a beautiful wedding which I had the honour of photographing.

Dhruti and Richard - thank you for trusting me. 🙏🙏

Not gonna lie. I do get to shoot some EXQUISITE weddings.

This was one of the final pictures taken of the bride and groom walking out of their reception party at Trinity College, Cambridge University.

Can we take a moment to just admire the dress. But what you have is the bride and groom walking down a path of lanterns and as they walked down, their friends and family released balloons into the sky.

Just such an epic and memorable moment from this wedding.

Just a quick pic from a couple of years back of Alex and Lauren’s wedding at Swynford Manor.

I actually was the videographer for this wedding?! 🤯

So this is actually a screengrab from their wedding video. 😬

As you know… I’m always pushing myself to try new things and learn new skills. So learning video has been invaluable as it’s allowed me to really understand why videographers need their time. And it’s also taught me the art of waiting… wait for a moment to develop before moving to something else.

Did you know that I do offer a small video clip addon to my photography packages? This is perfect for those clients who just want a small video memory of their day. It’s NOT for those wanting the whole day videoed - for that I recommend one of my recommended suppliers.

Probably a good time to share these previews!

Introducing the wonderful and from their recent Fusion wedding at !

I had so much fun with these guys and their families! From the morning entrance on the back of a Jeep, to the big group photo where we had to wait a minute for the bride and groom?!? I loved every single minute of this day!

I heard a rumour that was trailing 20 pic carousels - well, it’s not been opened up to me as I would have happily filled it with 20 images (probably more)!!

Continuing on with my “I don’t just shoot Asian Weddings” posts - here is a wedding I shot with the legend that is Lucy Toms (). If you don’t know who she is… you should get to know!

Forever grateful for allowing me to work with her and creating some magic photos but also I learnt so much from her on this wedding. I sometimes forget that I am lucky that many of my clients have big productions for their party etc and this isn’t always the case for most weddings. So working in a different manner during this wedding was so refreshing! The challenge was so much fun and it forced my mind to work things out quickly!

A small selection of pictures from Ann-Marie and John’s wedding a couple of weeks ago.

It was the first wedding of the year and what a wicked one to start with! Filled with fun, laughter and emotion - EXACTLY what I love from the weddings I shoot!

Also, a bit different, as I said in my previous post, I will be sharing more non-Asian weddings just to diversify my portfolio and to showcase the range of weddings I am lucky enough to photograph.

Thanks again to Ann-Marie and John for having me at their special day!
