I love capturing the essence of the special moment when two people become joined as one and the love, the tenderness, the togetherness and the happiness that exudes from the couple, their family and their friends. The little smiles that the couple give to each other, the knowing glances from the parents, the laughter as they play the little games before and after the wedding ceremony (and sometime

s during it too!). I love being a part of this wonderful world. Being accepted in the families as no longer a photographer, but rather a friend or a member of the family. My style of photography is to be unobtrusive yet available and ready to capture everything that happens. To have an elegant and polished final product which will stand up to the test of time. To create visually emotive images that will either make you laugh, make you cry or simply take your breath away.

I first met at a wedding I was photographing a few years ago. She always said that she was going to call me to shoot her wedding and now here we are getting ready to celebrate her upcoming wedding to !

When I first met Suki, I instantly knew that he was going to be the perfect gentleman for Ranjana but also a really great guy and friend!

These prewedding photos capture the sweetest moments between two people who are clearly meant for each other.

The love, laughter, and pure happiness between them is contagious — and I honestly can’t wait for the summer celebrations. It’s going to be unforgettable!

London gave us the perfect backdrop to capture this love—timeless, effortless, and completely ours.

In just a few months, and .raval.24 will say “I do” under the summer sun, surrounded by the people who’ve lifted them up every step of the way.

A prewedding shoot in the City allows us to create some wonderful pictures with an urban backdrop. This clashes beautifully with the wedding later in the year where the emphasis will be on nature.

I’m the lucky person who gets to document this. And I cannot wait! 🫶

Since October last year, I’ve not had a wedding to photograph and this has meant I’ve been able to spend my time on personal project.

BUT, I’m so glad to be shooting weddings again. And the first wedding (Civil) was a beauty! I’m really looking forward to many more days of happy celebrations like this one!

The sun came out STRONG but most importantly everyone was there to celebrate with the couple (Arjun and Krupa).

Still one of my all time favourite portraits. While I do shoot lots of weddings in big green park areas, but I really found my creative love in this car park location as part of Mohini and Neil’s wedding and reception.

The silver/blue tones worked amazingly well together. And the staircase was just a little special!

The point? You don’t always need a big green space to have creative photos from your wedding day. The skill is what you can create with what you have. 🙌

ps. Insta crop ruined the height of the picture. 🙄

The eye never forgets what the heart has seen - Rafiki (from Mufasa)

I make ZERO apologies for what I’m about to say. This year has been the toughest. As you know, my father passed away suddenly this year. It’s taken me time to figure out my feelings and while I’m still working through them, I can’t stop. Dad would never allow me.

I don’t want to be negative. I’ve been fortunate enough to have witnessed so much joy at every wedding I’ve photographed. I’ve taken 1000s of photos of every wedding and allowed myself to be surrounded by the happiness. This has kept me in a special place.

That said, I do want to thank all the dads who have adopted me at EVERY wedding this year. This post is for you. Your love has been felt. You aren’t the focus of attention and you usually are found in the background looking at everyone with immense pride.

I’ve felt your love and your gaze. I’ve loved spending time with you all. So this post is my way of thanking you.

So, as 2024 comes to an end and I look forward to 2025. This is a post of thanks to everyone who has supported me. Everyone who has given me strength. Your love has been felt.

But mainly, this is for the dads. X

A tender moment between father and son. I waited for this. I felt something was about to happen. And when it did, I made sure I took a LOT of pics of it.

That’s the thing. These moments happen so fast that I need to be ready for that exact moment to be able to capture it.

This meant a lot to me personally. I had recently lost my father and watching this unfold was very raw for me. I won’t lie, I did give myself a minute to recompose myself and carry on.

These little moments are what I’m here for. They do happen. Sometimes less often than what we would like. But they are absolutely there.

So it’s been a while since I shared a creative and stylised portrait. So here is one of and from their wedding earlier this year.

Taken at the stunning just before their reception entrance - I just wanted to create something different. I just loved how they’re framed with the paintings either side just lining up perfectly too.

2025 is going to be a year where I lean into my creative lexicon. To try and create some really bespoke portraits. Something a bit different and unique for each of my clients.

So roll on 2025!!

When the singing waiters get the head table up and singing! This is one of my favourite moments from last year. The sheer joy that everyone had at this moment was wonderful to see and capture!

Throwback to Panvi and Punits wedding at Ponsbourne.

People often ask about doing 3 events in one day (Civil, Wedding and Reception) and whether or not it’s feasible to do it.

The truth is, you can absolutely plan these types of days and make them a success. Either having the religious ceremony first or the civil first - it will come down to having an itinerary which has some leeway for delays.

Equally it’s important to keep an open mind and allow the day to unfold. Not to get hung up on delays and enjoy it as best as you can.

Panvi and Punit started with their Civil followed by their Hindu wedding and finished off with a cracking reception party.

There were a few delays, but you wouldn’t realise when looking through the pics.

Been a bit quiet so I’m going to start sharing some work again. With so much to share and so many pictures showcasing what I’ve been doing it’s been so hard to choose what to share.

Bringing back this beauty of a civil wedding from last year where Meera and Vipul got married at the Langtons in Hornchurch. A fairly local venue for me.

So. I second shot this for my good friend from earlier this year.

These are just a few pics from the wicked English wedding in Central London with the party taking place at the RAC.

I promise I wasn’t fanboying the beautiful gold trophy which is awarded every year to the winner of the British F1 Grand Prix winner.

I’m a bit behind with the sharing?! Don’t hate me!

Throwing back to a couple of weeks ago and and civil wedding at the amazing !

A couple of things.

1 - if you’re going to do a champagne spray, do it like the Formula 1 and use a Magnum?! 🤯
2 - there is no such thing as too much confetti. If you think you have enough, you actually have too little. Go mad. Create a confetti storm. It’s worth it.
3 - fresh pizza is always a winner
4 - Taylor has too many songs to choose from so ask your client to pick one!

LOVED this day. We had so much fun and just the right amount of time to do the portraits in the garden area. A mix some standard ones plus some more creative ones.

The wedding that I’ve been waiting for (let alone the one you’ve been waiting for?!)

This year has been a year of opportunities which have led to some amazing experiences and connections.

When I was contacted to photograph this wedding, little did I know what I would experience.

The wonderful beauty of Norway to the warmth and openness of the wonderful families who I met.

Continuing on with Priya and Richard’s pics… here are their portraits!

I recently did a personal project of working in HOT direct sunlight to make/create stunning pictures. This really helped me when I did Priya and Richard’s portraits as the sun was most definitely SUNNING! It was a scorcher! And then we get this amazing couple who looked incredible and you just have a set of beautiful pictures with a ton of heat! 😂

Reception party is still to come but let’s enjoy these for now. 🙏
