Nish*t Parmar Photography Asian Wedding Photography with an emphasis on capturing all the special moments which build up to make your day memorable forever. I love weddings.

I love capturing the essence of the special moment when two people become joined as one and the love, the tenderness, the togetherness and the happiness that exudes from the couple, their family and their friends. The little smiles that the couple give to each other, the knowing glances from the parents, the laughter as they play the little games before and after the wedding ceremony (and sometime

s during it too!). I love being a part of this wonderful world. Being accepted in the families as no longer a photographer, but rather a friend or a member of the family. My style of photography is to be unobtrusive yet available and ready to capture everything that happens. To have an elegant and polished final product which will stand up to the test of time. To create visually emotive images that will either make you laugh, make you cry or simply take your breath away.

Karan and Shalini

A couple of weeks ago, I had the honour of photographing Karan and Shalini’s wedding at the beautiful Offley Place — a day that will stay with me for a long time.

There was something deeply personal about this one. I found myself quietly drawn to Karan’s dad throughout the day — making sure he was present in the memories, enjoying every moment, feeling the joy. It brought back emotions I’ve carried since losing my own father. In many ways, this wedding became a gentle reminder of how powerful photographs can be — not just for the couple, but for the people they hold closest.

Shalini looked absolutely stunning — graceful, radiant, full of warmth. And together, Karan and Shalini make the kind of couple that makes you believe in soulmates. Their energy was infectious, their love felt easy and real.

As the sun began to dip, we snuck off to the hidden garden for portraits — golden light spilling through the trees, the quiet giving way to magic. Those sunset photos, they’re something special.

The whole day was filled with laughter, joy, hugs that lingered a little longer. It reminded me, yet again, of the importance of family — and how weddings aren’t just about two people coming together, but about everyone who helped bring them to that moment.

Karan and Shalini — thank you for trusting me. Thank you for the quiet glances, the loud laughs, and everything in between. Your day was beautiful. Your story is just beginning.

Throwing it back to this Civil Wedding from last year at Micklefield Hall.

A BEAUTIFUL day with lovely people surrounding Payal and Rohan to bless them with their love and attention on their wedding day.

Payal’s dress was amazing and it had POCKETS!! Haha! Thankfully the pockets weren’t used to hold her phone, but just allowed to have some fun with the types of portraits I could make.

Make sure you check out the confetti picture. I’m often asked how much confetti do you need to create these types of photos … and the answer is when you think you have enough, you need more. To absolutely shower the couple is so much fun and so visually amazing.

I’m looking forward to what 2026 brings me…!

Destination Pre Wedding Shoots - I’ve been wanting to do more of these so while I was photographing my recent wedding in Croatia, I took the opportunity to do a shoot.

So let me introduce you to and .kotecha whose wedding I am going to be shooting next year! They continue the line of weddings which started with Hema all those years back and for whom I am so grateful to.

We did this shoot in Rovinj old town after agreeing with Devi and Maja that it wouldn’t take the shine away from their big day.

Why do a prewedding shoot? You get to know me. I get to know you. I dispel any thoughts where photos are hard. I break down poses and ideas and make it as easy as possible. But most importantly… I try to make it fun and memorable.

So one more reason to book me for your wedding. 🙌🔥

Been a while since I shared something more creative. So here you go. Taken last night during a quick walk with and .raval.24 as we talked about the next few days.

To say I’m excited for these ladies is a true understatement. I’ve known them for a while and when they asked me to photograph their wedding, I was always going to accept!

Big hugs and love for the upcoming couple of days!

Prewedding Shoots

Here is and whose prewedding shoot I did a couple of weeks ago. And with their wedding in a few weeks time, I’m really looking forward to seeing them again - but also meet their family and friends!

So why are prewedding shoots important? You really get to know what I do. I want YOU to look and FEEL your best. When you FEEL your best you will LOVE the photos.

It’s also a chance for me to understand your likes and dislikes (we all have them - it’s perfectly normal). We want to have more of what you love and less of the stuff you don’t.

I’ve so much to share… it’s about time I became active on social media again!

Do you remember these portraits? Throwing it back to and wedding at

Can we take a moment to appreciate their reception outfits? I remember seeing them walk out and saying to myself - people are going to gasp. And gasp they did!

These portraits were taken at sunset which meant a little planning in the wedding itinerary to make these happen. And that’s the point. Working with you to create these types of once in a lifetime pictures.

Time to bring you some more new work… introducing Suki and Ranjana and their civil wedding which I recently had the honour of photographing!

I’ve known for a while now and she’s been one of my biggest advocates and supporters. And then when I met , it felt like meeting a long lost brother! He’s definitely a good one!

I loved photographing their civil wedding as I wont be able to photograph their main wedding (let’s call it scheduling conflicts 😆).

Just a beautiful day surrounded by beautiful people! Make sure you give this post some love and leave the happy couple a happy message!

Tucked away in the Norwegian forest, Herangtunet was the most magical host for J + J’s wedding — a weekend full of music, laughter, and love. ✨🌲

With just 40 guests flying in from around the globe, this wedding felt less like an event and more like a retreat — intimate, soulful, and utterly beautiful. The rustic charm of the wooden cabins, the soft glow of fairy lights, and the breathtaking views made this a storybook setting. You could feel the connection in every corner, from the quiet morning preparations to that euphoric first dance under a canopy of stars.

Both the bride () and groom are incredible musicians, and their celebration reflected that artistry — thoughtfully curated as well as a couple of solo performances.

Planned to perfection by , this wasn’t just a wedding, it was a gathering of kindred spirits. A reminder that love is at its most powerful when it’s shared with the people who truly matter.

Small in size, huge in heart.

✨ Arjun & Krupa ✨

The best portraits don’t just happen — they come from a mix of trust, time, and creativity.

When a couple gives you that trust (like Arjun and Krupa did), it opens the door to so much more than just pretty pictures. It means we can play with light, explore new ideas, and carve out quiet moments in the middle of a busy wedding day to make something truly personal.

I’m always looking for ways to make portraits feel a little different — something that reflects you, not just the tradition. Whether it’s finding an unexpected pocket of light or using the setting in a fresh way, I want every frame to feel like its own little story, not just another photo.

A bit of space and a bit of creative freedom can turn a quick photo session into something unexpected, fun, and full of character.

Chigwell Marquees | Fusion Hindu Wedding

Last weekend, I had the joy of capturing Kajal and James’ stunning wedding at Chigwell Marquees. From the moment I arrived, the day unfolded in the most beautiful way – sun shining, laughter flowing, and love all around.

This was a fusion celebration in the truest sense – full of colour, culture, connection, and an atmosphere of pure happiness. What made it extra special? I met Kajal and James for the very first time on the day itself – and yet, everything felt incredibly natural and full of trust. That kind of connection is rare, and I’m truly grateful for it.

The decor by Gayatri Mandaps was beautiful – the perfect setting for the heartfelt ceremony led by Anil Bhatt Hindu Priest, with beautiful background music by The Sitarist and Mistry Music Live. And the food? An unforgettable feast courtesy of Ajanta Caterers and a beautiful and delicious cake by Eggless Cake Delights.

Kajal and James – thank you for the warmth, the energy, and the honour of telling your story. More pictures to come soon 🧡

✨ Arjun & Krupa ✨

Some weddings just glow — and this one radiated with love, joy, and the kind of light that only a perfect spring day can bring. From the moment I arrived at Offley Place, there was something special in the air. The sun beamed down, the skies stayed clear, and nature itself seemed to be celebrating right alongside Arjun and Krupa.

Their day was a masterclass in how to blend tradition with personal flair. The morning began with a colourful and loud bharat where Arjun arrived in a classic white Mercedes. Krupa looked breathtaking in her intricately embroidered lehenga, while Arjun carried himself like a king in his regal sherwani and safa. From sacred vows beneath a canopy of jasmine and gold bells, to heartfelt readings and vibrant rituals, every moment was steeped in meaning.

And when night fell? The vibe shifted into full celebration mode. From romantic golden hour portraits to a dancefloor that never emptied, it was the kind of day that stays with you.

💡 Wedding day tip: Surround yourself with people (and suppliers!) you trust. When the right team is in place, you’re free to actually enjoy your day instead of managing it. Let go. Be present. The real magic happens in the in-between moments — and that’s what you’ll remember most. ✨

Massive love to the incredible team who brought this celebration to life:
