I tend to do a lot of weddings in marquees, however, I do love a venue search instead as this means I get to discover some truly stunning hidden gems such as @findon_place ✨
With so much to offer at this privately owned estate, it has unsurprisingly been selected by one of my lovely couples for their wedding this summer and I can’t wait to see the occasion unfold there!
The estate itself is nestled in the South Downs National Park and is the perfect example of classical Georgian architecture. It is steeped in history and every room tells a story. The five beautiful bedrooms have been designed impeccably to think of every little need a guest might have and it’s clear that the lovely owner wants everyone to feel that they are truly at home here…. There is also a very fun “man cave” in the basement with a private bar and snooker table!
The grounds are perfectly designed and manicured and their is even a walled flower garden through an arch covered in scented jasmine. If you are thinking of a nice intimate dinner with your bridal party the night before your wedding, or a recovery BBQ the day after your wedding, these can be held under the pretty pergola by the heated swimming pool as there is a garden kitchen alongside ✨
Every little detail has been thought about and I have to admit, it’s not too often that a venue excites me this much, but Findon Place, is a very special venue indeed!

This destination Wedding was the perfect end to my manic Wedding season and it was made even better, by the wonderful things the Groom said about me in his speech and the bride giving me the biggest hug 🥹
Planning a wedding abroad is never easy… there are a lot of barriers, restrictions and extra things to think about, but when you do it for an incredibly kind and loving couple, who you have gotten to know very well over the last 12 months, it makes it that much easier✨
The wedding day started with pouring rain, but thankfully ended with a stunning sunset just in time for the guests to dance the night away on the dancefloor we built over the swimming pool!
