When we deliver flowers, we have noticed that brides don’t give themselves enough time for this moment but for me seeing Freya with her bridesmaids appreciating that moment and especially seeing her sisters reaction was priceless ❤️
We suggest:
- When you visit your venue before your big day ensure you’re aware of the best sources of light and then liaise with the professionals you have employed to steer where best to have your reveal
- Plan in time for your photography/videographer/content creator time to capture those moments
- Request you HMUA to have their station set up before you arrive
- Allow yourself enough time for HMUA and make sure you aren’t distracted by family coming in and out of your room
- Give yourself a 15 min buffer to check you’re happy with your look
- Let your bridal team know what time you would like to join them for the reveal
- Clean your area where you are getting ready - delegate the responsibility as you won’t want the mess in your shots
- Finally enjoy the moment to showcase your complete look coming together and leave your planning to your wedding planner!!!

OUTDOOR WEDDING: BRAXTED PARK
F & S opted for fresh flower garlands for their outdoor ceremony at Braxted Park. Such a beautiful setting but with it being the hottest day of the year, we had to guide our couple:
- Transporting the garlands: this involved a four hour trip to deliver so hiring a cool box with ample ice packs is a must
- Roses: these were imported in the morning we made these garlands and they had to remain in the cool chain process to look as good as possible
- Storing the garlands: As these were delivered in advance they had to be stored in a cool place until they were used

TREND ALERT: Full floral duppatas are the way to go to elevate your bridal attire! And who wouldn’t agree Radhika Merchant rocks this perfectly at her Haldi! However would these work here in the UK?
Flower jewellery has always been popular and more fresh floral options with traditional Indian flowers has been requested but key things to note:
- flowers are perishable and by the time they’ve been transported discolouration can occur, so if you’re not fussed about this then yes it is for you
- transporting flowers from abroad is costly so budget for it
- Haldi, pithi or maiyan ceremonies can quickly become a fun fight of paste, water and flower petal showering so be prepared to have these delicate pieces be removed or get damaged even broken during the event after all it’s all delicately created
- marigolds and jasmine buds are a beautiful combination but this look in January- March can be done with chrysanthemums and hyacinths; all year round with chrysanthemums and I think the a gypsophilia dupatta could also work though time consuming to create it’s a beautiful piece
- creating pieces like this is an art and it’s not ok for another flower designer to copy the design so for us we would need to work with you to design something which is practical and designed to fit your look
