The Miroir d'Argentine
The Miroir d'Argentine - I've only climbed this once before with Jason about 14 years, so it was great to go back with Rebecca and do another lap today.
I had forgotten how long the face is and how hard / sustained some of the pitches are. I was glad to have a small trad rack to plug some gaps.
Great adventure climbing at its best.

I am always a bit nervous on take offs but I think that's a good thing. I go through all the pre-flight checks, make a flight plan and action.
Flying in the Alps is so amazing π€©

Something a little different on Monday after a short break, I was back teaching archery. I've actually been a qualified archery instructor for 22 years - not many people know that.
Somewhere in the mountains of Britain.....
An amazing climb through St Stephens Church in Bath to get to the roof.
Putting the time into training pays off when you can head out into the mountains and jump off a mountain summit and be back on the ground in minutes.
Great to be in the Lake District putting some hours into paragliding ππ

We're just working on all the photos from yesterday and will get them out very soon but I thought I'd share this from yesterday. Mega π
Here we go πππ MHTHM 2023
Here we go folks. The first drop off happens tomorrow. I've got a van full of merch and kit. Then next one will be Friday. This is going to be the best Malvern Hills race ever - I am going all out - you'll have to trust me π
Here we go, a first crack at the Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon route information video. It's not edge of your seat stuff but it might help a few folk out with further details π§π§π§

You've gotta got those miles in...... Things are really ramping up with a looming 100 km race next month. Anyone else fancy joining Nick and I on the Butcombe Ultra on the 29th April yomping around the Mendip Hills - it's the weekend after the Malvern Hills race, so you can use that as a warm up :)
Anyway, must get lots of miles in the legs. It's always good to have something to aim for right?

A fun little outing to the Brecons today. There wasn't much to go at but this was fun for a few hundred meters. Got to make the most of it whilst it's there ππ
This may not seem much but it's a big deal for me. First time in 7 years that I can unpack my clothes. I've been living out of Ikea bags on floors and a shipping container for ages. Now all my stuff is in one place at last and what a relief it is - I didn't realise the extra stress these past few years have caused until it's been lifted......
This is my 'kneel in wardrobe' - not quite a 'walk in' but it suits me down to the ground.
I've got a couple more events this season and then it's reset, re-focus on 2023 and make things happen - I can't wait!!
Here we go :)
