A stunning day at one of my favourite wedding venues. Working alongside an incredible team who brought together the most beautiful day, worked quickly on their feet when the rain came in from nowhere during the drinks reception, finished with a stunning sunset in the evening and cocktail hour enjoyed out on the terrace overlooking 466 yachts in the largest offshore race in the world!

A day routed at home, surrounded by family and friends, getting married in their local church, having champagne and oysters in the sunshine, beautiful stories and memories and ending the day with dancing the night away! 🥂

Steph & David 💍 Amazing couple in an incredible location! Beyond excited to capture their wedding day today, but a little peek of their engagement shoot last week.

A planned sunset shoot and the sun disappeared behind a huge rain cloud just as we arrived, but it was still amazing! Couples trusting me to document such a big part of their journey, and fully being themselves in front of my camera is such a huge privilege. We went on basically a huge hike around Durdle Door, laughed loads, got to know each other and they definitely brought main character energy to the shoot and LOVE how the images turned out.

I have been noticing more and more lately that the morning preparations on a wedding day can quickly go from relaxed and fun, to chaotic and rushed - two feelings I promise you you don’t want on the morning of your wedding, and certainly not 10 minutes beforehand.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Whilst the idea of getting in your dress at the very last minute sounds appealing to some, I really recommend that your hair and makeup is finished and you are getting into your dress about an hour before the ceremony. This allows for plenty of time to get into your dress - not rushing or stressing about time. To have any last minute touch ups and having a lovely moment with the people you have spent the morning with, maybe even a reveal with however might be walking you down the aisle.

This also allows time for a few bridal portraits, maybe photographs with your bridesmaids and then for you to have a minute and take it in before your ceremony.

I am on always on hand to help with any timings for the day and how you can maximise your time, but most importantly so that you can enjoy every element of the day to the fullest and it to be stress free and no rushing around.

Followed by a relaxing weekend mixed with editing, beach time, seeing family and friends, and a little R&R on Bank Holiday Monday.
