Introducing our new LEGO Club for pupils in school years 5-8 - held at Southern Maltings Ware. Starting 9th November.
LEGO MACHINES
We will be starting by exploring cogs and gears, making models move, and then moving on to motorising and then coding our models. We will start with an initial 5 week course this half term, adding more complexity as we go.

A new after school club aimed at pupils in Yrs6-8 is on its way.
Build machines and mechanisms and program their movements.

Had a great party this weekend with a group of 9 & 10 year old boys who successfully built and battled remote control LEGOBOTs. It's always interesting watching what designs they come up with and lovely to hear back from parents about how much they all enjoyed the party :)

Ware's The Bricks 2023 are having GBC & Stop Motion animation workshops again this year, this GBC module designed by Huw look great :)

Exciting news today as we unveil the GBC Workshop module for this year. This years module has been designed especially for us by Huw Millington of Brickset.
We are running a workshop and Saturday and Sunday which you can book onto when you are booking your entry tickets. The price of the workshop includes your own module to build (Bring your own motor or just hand crank)

This afternoon we were at Geek Retreat Stevenage for our new weekly LEGO Club. LEGOBOTs were the focus with 2 great machines, can't wait to see how the bot building skills develop over the coming weeks.

Booking is now open for our LEGO Clubs starting in January. We are running 2 clubs next half term.
Both run from 4pm - 5pm although you can drop off from 3:30pm if you are coming straight from school and arrive early.
Tuesday - For Yrs 3-5 (aimed more at Yr4/5)
Fridays - For Yrs 2-4 (aimed more at Yr2/3)
