We're looking forward to two beautiful weddings this week so today has been spent visiting suppliers to collect our flowers, conditioning them + getting stuck into prepping all the bases for the designs. Can't wait to share what we create with you!

Would you choose the same colour for all your bridesmaids dresses or go tonal? Same style dresses or varied? Patterns or plain?
I always love finding out these decisions + designing the bouquets to compliment them accordingly. Choosing floral details that will stand out in photos + contrast pleasingly against the colours. These warm apricots, rusts + fresh summer whites were a perfect match against the BMs bottle green dresses on an extremely barmy August day.

Oh we do LOVE an arch! For Natasha + Myles; a super frothy, broken archway filled with the very best of May's bounty. Their day had a subtle champagne vibe throughout so we created their designs with all the bubbliest blooms we could find to add to the revelries!

It's a wedding free weekend + a chance to have a little breather to look back at the season so far. With 7 beautiful weddings under our belts already I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all our lovely clients who've invited us to play a small part in their special days + have been so lush to work with. Same goes to all the welcoming + friendly staff at the venues we're lucky enough to work at!

Caught flower handed! The end of March + we managed to get in the earliest locally grown stems of tulips + daffs from The Wild Zinnia for our truly delightful local couple.

Sometimes a bridal look just blows you the hell away! This was an incredible wedding at The Mount Without at the end of Jan '24. The brief was understated elegance + sparkly glamour with gothic undertones, delicate details such as tiny blossoms + sequins combined to create the most sublime, candlelit vision.

Spring bud vases awaiting in the wings for their place on the tables. We LOVE our bud vases at Snowdrops Studio! They're a perfect way to display stems in a soft + natural way with good impact, environmentally + budget friendly. Mix them up with floral bowls or just as they are.

Phooooooooar! Flower heaven in here this evening!

Snowdrops! Beautifully bright, white harbingers of spring! Their botanical name galanthus nivalis is derived from the Greek language; gala meaning milk, anthus meaning flower and then nivalis which is latin for snowy or snow covered. I was given this divine vintage flower frog by a friend after we'd spent the afternoon going through his great aunt's storage container, I love how ornate it is especially holding the snowdrops.
