My name is Ian Cook and I have an unabashed passion for good food in every way possible, from a simple breakfast
, right through to an elegant dinner and everything in between. For me, nothing is as fulfilling as food shared with friends and family and the buzz I get from sitting with a client to plan their catering requirements right through to the final ex*****on is, for me, as good as it gets professionally. In April 2007 I entered the Channel 4 competition ‘Come Dine with Me’ and won with the highest score ever recorded in the history of the show, 39 out of 40. This was enormously rewarding as I produced high quality food on a budget, something we all have to do these day, and my love affair with food and food preparation grew even stronger. Following on from ’ Come Dine With Me’ I lived and worked in Spain, predominately in Andalucía for a couple of years where I learned a great deal about Spanish food and cuisine, which is some of the best in the world, often overshadowed by its French and Italian counterparts. On my return to the UK I was in charge of catering at Studio 2, Parr Street in Liverpool, a fabulous venue staffed with people with passion and commitment. From the start I developed a great reputation for a tasty breakfast menu, canapés for networking events, hot buffets, and exclusive private dining events and this is something I’ve carried forward with Cook & Co. Now I want to bring my love for delicious food to you and over the course of the page you can see all I have to offer, be it a private dining event in your home, special occasion or corporate event.
