Five years ago, pre-COVID, we bought our first caravan, not really knowing if we were doing food or drink. This was our own event for Rachael’s 40th birthday, and it was clear it needed to be a bar going forward. Fast forward five years, and after a lot of hard work, we have a successful bar business that we are very proud of.

A super fun fact for you:
The mudslide was invented in 1970 at the wreck bar in rum point club in the tropical Grand Cayman Islands and it’s still a firm favourite today 🙌

Happy birthday to one half of the awesome @alchemyaestheticsandwellbeing - our eldest sister Ruth - probably the brightest and most quick witted of the Pettigrew sisters 🤣 incredibly clever, engaging and loyal. Always there to support us when we need it, tell us to wind our necks in when we need it, champion anything and anyone that is important to us, always ready to jump in to defend us and our steady rock….if you could pick big sisters, she is one I would pick again and again. Her knowledge of aesthetics is second to none..she never does things by half and always strives to know more and be better…as shown in all of the positive stories I hear from her in her role as an advance nurse practitioner. She really cares for her patients..something of a rarity these days. @alchemyaestheticsandwellbeing are hosting (alongside @bar_rumba_events) a Women’s Health Event at Lavenham Village Hall on the 18th November between 2-8pm.
