From one designer to another...

The sensational Emily at got in touch way back in her dress shopping journey to express her interest in a Tulle&flo veil (how lucky am I?!)

When she found this sleek beauty of a dress, she chose to keep her veil, silky, sheer and sentimental

I crafted her veil from our OG silky soft ivory tulle and added the personal touch of embroidered wording 'Forever & Always'

Emily looks a complete sensation in this gorgeous selection of pictures

I feel soo lucky to be able to create for fellow designers and industry experts!

Working hard or hardly working?

I've been soo M.I.A recently, so here's a little look at me working hard dressing our gorgeous bride Ava for her wedding this summer.

Promise I am working hard, but I'm also hardly working in the sense that I'm enjoying the festive period and all that it brings 🤍

The bits you don't see are me working on last-minute rush orders, getting ahead for next year, hand stitching my evenings away in front of the fire, prepping for new collections, working on boutique samples, studying for something new in the future and so much more!

So I am both working hard among hardly working (having the odd mulled wine and Xmas sing song) because it's's all about balance 🤍

I've got mega exciting plans for 2025...watch this space!

It all started with a drawing of a stick man...

The most random intro to a post ever, but this is literally how beautiful Ava's cape came to life!

Myself and Ava had been chatting back and fourth through options originally for a cape or veil. Ava was describing a design that I hadn't seen before, so she sent me a very cute stick man drawing of her ideal cape (made my day, I must admit), and the rest is history 🫶🏼

I created Ava's dream cape with long tulle sleeves, beaded cuffs, a drape back cascading to a chapel length tulle cape adorned with a full beaded edge, all finished with a scatter of 3d flowers!

For the finishing touch I added a removable tulle godet to the split of Ava's dress 👌🏽

Ava looks STUNNING I'm sure you'll agree, and is proof that we can even create your dream look from a stick man drawing 😉

Inspired...

Real bride Elysha was inspired by my very own wedding veil, the layout, and the lace 🫶🏼

But to add her own twist, we were looking at a more natural woodland inspired lace design

Voilà! A deep bordered edge of floral lace motifs scattered organically to frame that stunning ruffle train 👌🏽

Embroidery, but make it sparkle ✨️

This is exactly what we created for our wonderful real bride

Abi got married in Lake Como and chose our ultra lightweight Emmy wings to adorn her dress

Her wings were finished with bride and groom initials on one wing and the wedding date on the other, in a modern calligraphy inspired font

We then hand embellished the embroidery with a mix of crystal, pearl and seed beads for a subtle but special twinkle 👌🏽

Love when our brides opt for something a little bespoke and a little different ✨️

Decorate those shoulders 🫶🏼

Our stunner of a Bride Sasha did and what a delicate little impact our bespoke shoulder bows make!

Sasha's bow wings were scattered with a twinkling of clear sequins to create a whimsical subtle sparkle and embroidered with her married name and wedding date 👌🏽

What a combo for our Sasha!

Winging her way onto the grid is this Angel 🫶🏼

It's been a hot minute since I've made some tulle wings so when Lucy came onto the scene wanting some silky tulle with a subtle light scattering of teeny pearls, I was ready to go!

Wings are your go to when you need that tulle fill, but don't want to hide the back of your dress or your hair

Your hair stylist will thank you too 🫶🏼

Creating a Story

Tulle & flo Designs was dreamt up from the imagination of Claire Elizabeth. Taught to sew by her Nana, she always dreamt of being able to create the designs in her mind a reality.

Working in a Bridal studio for 9 years helped make the decision that Veils and Accessories would be the route to go down, with the aspiration of eventually mixing in Bridal Separates and Gowns.

A Tulle & flo Bride is individual, unique, fun and chic. Creating all looks from timeless classic pearl veils to flamingo pink ombre bridal wings!
