Happy Sunday! To celebrate I’m sharing my fav cake recipe today, because aren’t Sundays just the perfect day to stay at home and bake some goodies?!
Back in the days of putting together my graze boxes, this was the showstopper in my brunch box. I always had so many compliments on this banana bread, the perfect sweet balance which I would argue counted to 0.5 of my daily fruit count.
Banana & Dark Chocolate Bread Loaf 🍌 🍫
2 ripe bananas
2 tbsp milk
100g baking spread
150g plain flour
150g caster sugar
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tsp baking powder
2 free-range egg
100g dark chocolate chips
Mix everything together and bake in a loaf tin at 140 fan for 50 minutes.
The best part is this freezes really well, so the ideal cake to batch and save for the next time you’re hosting at short notice.
