I just love the henna patterns on the hands of a traditional Indian bride.
Mehndi / Henna is associated with positive spirits and is considered to bring good luck. There is a Mehndi ceremony held usually the night before the wedding which is a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity on her journey to marriage!
They also say, the darker the henna the more love the bride receives.
