Cobham Hall - The Perfect Venue for your Amazing Day
Nestled in 150 acres of Grade II listed parkland Cobham Hall dates back to 1208 when the original Manor was granted by the King to the De Cobham family. The Hall is home to a priceless collection of paintings and antiques as well as to the famous “Ashes” of English Cricket which were left as a gift to the future 8th Earl of Darnley Ivo Bligh in 1883 and The Darnley State Chariot built in 1715. Now operating as an independent day and boarding school for 200 girls from around the world Cobham Hall is one of England’s finest historic country houses.
There are a number of options available for hiring Cobham Hall for your wedding day.
During the Spring, Autumn and Winter months the stunning and impressive Gilt Hall can play host to your ceremony and reception. With its fabulous gilded ceiling, marble fireplace and original wood floors this former Music Room will amaze your guests with its grandeur and elegance.
The adjoining Vestibule and Library are available for welcome drinks as well as the formal elegance of the West Court Gardens. During the Summer months (late July and throughout August) a stunning marquee with wood floors, silk linings and crystal chandeliers is erected on the West Lawn overlooking The Hall.
