Thank you for all for supporting my business during lockdown..

Many of you have bought afternoon teas from me and many of you have bought gift hampers and I appreciate this support so very much while the hospitality business was on hold.

I am glad and grateful (and relieved!) that 'Sarah Kelly Fine Foods' is very much back on track and I am looking forward to a very busy Summer ahead. I have therefore decided that I am no longer able to provide afternoon teas delivered to your door from the end of May.

I have many private parties, weddings, 'celebrations of life,' special birthdays and corporate events booked now, so I am now going into hibernation in my kitchen for the Summer!!

Can't wait to cook for all of my customers over the next few months. Thank you!

4 events to cater for this weekend.....so good to be back to work, but I am exhausted!

Perhaps the most enjoyable, most stressful and the one requiring the most planning and preparation, was my daughter's 18th Birthday party.

Happy to report that everyone survived and the house is still standing 🍾🎈🍰

Lovely bunch of teenagers, some very loud music and plenty of drinks, but happy to report that nothing was broken, no one was ill
(apart from the hangovers the next day!), no unwelcome guests and no complaints from neighbours. Happy parents!

The beautiful cake was not my own creation.......I have Jennie's Cakes 'n' bakes to thank for that x

Royal Ascot is synonymous with sartorial elegance and is a major fashion event for those that attend.

With just a month to go before Royal Ascot, numbers are being restricted and the maximum capacity for racegoers is only 4000, unless of course you are a Royal Enclosure Member!

With this in mind, yesterday became a bit of a photo shoot in my kitchen!

Getting ready to work with Ascot Brewing company in June as they look to recreate Ladies Day at Ascot and host three days of fun, with some fabulous ales, great food and a chance to share the day with friends at the races.

Pleased to be back to work and happy that restrictions are finally being lifted. First job this morning with 30 guests, since August!

It has been a very busy few weeks of planning and looking like it is going to be a very busy Summer. Let's hope for some sunshine.

Delighted to have just received my Food Hygiene rating of Level 5, for the 10th year running!

This reflects correct working practices, a high level of hygiene and a good knowledge and understanding of my business, and is awarded after an inspection by the Environmental Health Officer.

This is always an excellent way of judging whether your caterer is operating safely.

Did you know that there is a Safe2eat scheme that gives information on food premises following a hygiene inspection? This is displayed on the Rushmoor Borough Council website......

I have to say that I love my wine and in particular, a glass of dry white wine. (or two!)

I am trying to support British companies where possible and two of the vineyards that I have been buying from is Chapel Down in Tenterdon, Kent, and 'Surrey Gold' from Denbies Vineyard in Dorking, Surrey.

On Saturday, I had the privilege of catering for my first wedding this year! 💒🍾💕

Plenty of rain in the morning, gusty winds in the afternoon but some dry spells too for the photographer to work his magic.

The guests had the most amazing day with a beautiful service at St Peter's Church followed be a small intimate wedding reception afterwards. Stunning flowers, beautiful outfits and a radiant bride.

It was a pleasure being part of such a special day!

I thought that i would take this opportunity of introducing myself......

I live in Farnborough, am married and have 3 lovely (most of the time!) teenage girls.


I trained at Prue Leith's School of Food and Wine when I was 18yrs old and this gave me the knowledge and ability to cook in some of the most amazing places!

I have always had an interest and passion for good quality food and set up my business 17 years ago. I now cater for weddings, anniversaries, funerals, dinners, retirement parties, birthdays and cocktail parties, business lunches and barbeques. Whether it is a special family lunch at home, an informal garden party or a function in the local church hall, I will always do my very best to ensure the celebration is a success.

Getting ready for my own garden parties and afternoon teas with friends this Summer, my very talented friend made me a beautiful cake stand for my birthday.
