New Von Hertzen Brothers album coming!

New VHB album out 25 October 2024

Hello everyone!

We have exciting news for you today. Most of you are aware that we've been working intensely in the studio for the first half of the year and we are now ready to share with you that we have “crossed the finish line”. That makes us self-proclaimed Olympic Gold Medalists of 2024, since we already put out a double live album this year. That’s quite an achievement, don’t you think?!

Our ninth studio album, In Murmuration, will be released in October, and it features 10 brand-new, shiny & sparkling VHB tunes:

1. The Relapse
2. A Good Life
3. Starlings
4. Ascension Day
5. Beneath the Silver Stars
6. Tightrope Walker
7. The Change
8. Separation
9. Snowstorm
10. Wait for Me

The album was written, performed and produced by us brothers and features our bandmates Sami Kuoppamäki on the drums and Markus Pajakkala on saxophones, woodwinds and vocals.

The beautiful art on the album cover was made by Rami Mursula. He used pictures taken by us brothers as elements and drew “a few” more starling silhouettes for the effect. Well done, Rami!
