The rousing tones of 5-Star Brass and the uplifting harmonies of the Staxton Singers will fill the wonderful space of Queen Street Methodist Church next week. We Staxtons are super-excited to be sharing the stage on Wed 2 Oct with this eminent Yorkshire brass quintet, some of whom played in Brassed Off at the Stephen Joseph Theatre this summer. Be at Queen Street Church (YO11 1HQ) at 7.30pm for what's sure to be a brilliant evening! (Bring cash for donation.)

We had a great time today with Dementia Forward - singing songs from Abba to The Beatles!!

The Well-being Choir are available for bookings and are starting to already get booked up for Christmas!

We can’t wait to be back with Dementia Forward on the 3rd December 🎄 ❤️

Staxton singers are back on Monday 16th! 🎤

It's almost time to sing again! Our autumn term starts next Monday, 16 Sept at 7.30pm when we'll be ready to welcome singers old and new to St Mark's Church Hall, Coldyhill Lane. Robyn and Rebecca will be raring to go - and so will we!

Ever wanted to join a choir? Scalby Songbirds is open to new members all year round. 😀

⭐️ All welcome - from beginners to professionals.
⭐️ No membership fees
⭐️ No audition
⭐️ Tea / coffee break
⭐️ A variety of songs (pop, rock, theatre, folk… we will give anything a go)!
⭐️ Two showcases a year (Next is Thursday 19th December 2024)!

These are our Treats for September - all singing, all dancing!

This month includes a new regular activity for the Treats programme - Dance Light, lead by Clair Bella.

Clair describes the activity as "A unique low intensity but highly fun dance exercise class, set to the hits of the 60’s/70’s" and has designed Dance Light to be "All inclusive, all abilities, all welcome".
