Another busy week!!

Monday 20th Jan

⭐️ Staxton Singers are meeting back tonight- 7:15pm - 9:15pm @ St Mark’s Church Hall - New members welcomed

Tuesday 21st Jan

⭐️ We are at Jitterbugs Childcare in the morning delivering three workshops to ages 18 months - 4 years old!!

⭐️ 1-2pm we are at The Street for Scarborough Disability Action Group January ‘Treats’ Session -1-2pm in Hall B

⭐️ Finally, we are back at Westway Open Arms and Holy Nativity Church, Eastfield 4-5pm for our FREE choir! - New members welcomed

Thursday 23rd Jan

⭐️ We have a Private vocal lesson in the morning 🎤

⭐️ Our final singing session with Scarborough Parkinson’s group 2-3pm

⭐️ 4-5pm we have the Scarborough Wellbeing Choir at Scarborough Library - New members welcomed

⭐️ And finally, to finish the week off, we have our Scalby Songbirds 6:30-8:30pm at Scalby Methodist Church!

An AMAZING first rehearsal back for our Scalby Songbirds!! ❤️

All new music for this year - including pop favourites like ‘Flowers’ - Miley Cyrus, ‘Fix you’ - Coldplay & ‘Rolling in the deep’ - Adele… and that’s just the start!! 😍⭐️

We are nearing our members cap for Songbirds - which is something I’d never thought I’d say!! We will be adding a waiting list once we get to 30 singers.

The Songbirds have always been a small, welcoming group and we feel that any more than this will affect the blend and sound we aim for ❤️

❤️ Scarborough Wellbeing Choir are back at the Scarborough Library- 4:30-5:30pm - £3

❤️ Scalby Songbirds will be back rehearsing at Scalby Methodist Church - 6:30-8:30pm -£5

❤️ Staxton Singers will be meeting back for their 40th year!!! 7:15pm - 9:15pm @ St. Marks Church Hall

All our choirs are welcoming new members - so why not pop along and give them a try!!! 🎵

We made it!!

These last three weeks have flown by and I cannot actually believe that’s it for 2024!

Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported us throughout December - from singing in one of the choirs, attending a workshop or coming to listen to a performance!!

❤️ Four workshops
❤️ One nursery Christmas party
❤️ One school Carol concert
And a partridge in a pear tree 🎄

There is something truly special about being able to spread Christmas cheer through the only way we know how 🎤⭐️

Scalby Songbirds will be meeting back Thursday 9th January at Scalby Methodist Church - 6:30-8:30pm.

First session free then £5 on a pay as you come rate!! ⭐️❤️

We’ve made it!!

It’s the last day of performances and workshops for 2024!

⭐️ 1pm - We have our weekly nursery workshop at Jitterbugs Childcare

⭐️ 3pm - Scarborough Wellbeing Choir will be performing outside Pets at Home

⭐️ 7pm - Scalby Songbirds at Christmas 🎄

Tickets available on the door for our Scalby Songbird performance - £3, 7pm start at Scalby Methodist Church!

Thank you to Castle Grange Care Home for having us this evening singing Carols by the Christmas tree 🎄 🎄

We have one more performance on Wednesday evening for a private event and then we are done for 2024!

We will be meeting back in the new year on Monday 20th January ⭐️

A beautiful service by candlelight at Holy Nativity Church, Eastfield, Scarborough with Westway Warblers 🎄🎄

The Westway Warblers will be meeting back WEEKLY from Tuesday 7th January - 4-5pm in the Holy Nativity Church, Eastfield!

This is a FREE choir and EVERYONE is welcome 🎤⭐️🎤

Downside of being a musician, music teacher and workshop practitioner - you will be packing and unpacking your car for the rest of eternity!!!

Today we have the Scarborough Wellbeing Choir performing at Scarborough Library at 1pm - Choir and mince pies 🥧

Then we are heading to Jitterbugs Childcare for their Christmas party!! 🎄

Lastly; we have the final Scalby Songbird rehearsal of 2024!! Their performance is next Thursday - Thursday 19th December @ Scalby Methodist Church - 7pm 🌟❤️
