Kenton Hall Estate is a beautiful, family-owned country estate set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Our aim is to always provide a wonderful experience, personal service and very special memories. We offer unique glamping accommodation set in idyllic Suffolk countryside. Our glamping site offers a unique retreat in a tranquil woodland setting. Both The Shepherds Hut and The Yurt are set in

their own secluded plot and are designed and furnished to an extremely high standard ensuring luxury and comfort. And when we say luxury – we mean it! Think king size beds, 100% cotton sheets, log burning stoves and private shower rooms. Kenton Hall Estate Weddings features:

• Exclusive use of stunning venue in the heart of the countryside

• Woodland wedding blessings

• Wedding receptions for up to 150, evening receptions for 200

❤️ T H A N K A F A R M E R ❤️

On our farm, we love using Kramp UK. They supply us with most of our farm parts.

For our Open Farm Sunday event we hosted in June, Kramp very kindly gave us lots of amazing ‘Thank a Farmer’ chocolate bars which were hidden around the farm and given out as random acts of kindness. How cool is that!

The lucky recipients could scan the QR code on the chocolate bar to thank a farmer and Kramp would send an additional gift (safety equipment, socket set, safety boots) to the farmer!

Well, we had a wonderful surprise today as the very kind Bethany Glover thanked our team here at Kenton Hall!

Thank you very much to uk for supporting our British Farmers!! 🇬🇧

As a family, we would like to thank everybody who came to support our Open Farm Sunday event on 9th June 🚜

For us, it was a big undertaking - lots of work behind the scenes, making sure we kept all the visitors safe and doing our best to educate the public more about what happens on our farm and British Agriculture 🇬🇧

We are very grateful for everyone's understanding with the huge visitor numbers. We were determined to keep this a free event so there was no barrier to entry.

We were amazed we only picked up 1 carrier bag of rubbish across the whole farm and we have really loved hearing the positive feedback from the day!

Thanks for making our Open Farm Sunday a day to remember! Emily, Lucy and Tom and the McVeigh Family 🌾👩🏽‍🌾🐝🍻🍰🌻🚜🌳📸

🚜 Register!!! We have had over 2000 register and need to plan for numbers!

🍻 Bring a picnic blanket - we are never going to have enough chairs for everyone!

👜 Get here early to get 1 of our 500 FREE goody bags

🥾 Wear sensible footwear and clothing. The majority of the day is on concrete or grass.

🐕 Dogs MUST be kept on leads - don’t forget poo bags!

🍔 Make sure you try one of our Longhorn Burgers, served with Stokes Sauces!

🚦 There are traffic lights on the Aspall road before coming onto the farm, you can still get through!!

We’re going NUTS! 🌰 As part of our 10 year plan, this week Tom and the team have been busy planting 600 nut trees 🪴 This is our second year of nut tree planting establishing our Agroforestry project. This year, between the tree strips will be a borage crop which has beautiful blue flowers and is pollinated by our wonderful bees 🐝 Be sure to scan the QR codes around the farm to find out more!

Lucy had a great visit to one of our local primary schools as part of the Suffolk Show (Official) Tractors in Schools Week 🚜 Lucy had prepared a farming quiz and taken in various items from the farm to show the children! Thank you Helmingham primary you were such fun!

It’s so to kick off September we thought we’d introduce ourselves!

We are Emily, Lucy and Tom (L-R), we are siblings and 13th generation farmers! We work together here on the farm, Emily heads up the weddings, glamping and cookery school. Tom manages the farm and Lucy manages the property and livestock.

We’ve had a busy summer with harvest, burger nights, food fairs, weddings and plenty of cookery courses! We can’t wait to jump into September and get planning for the next few months!

💫 CHARITY STAR GAZING EVENING💫

We have teamed up with to bring you our first ever star gazing evening organised by our very own Lucy

📅 Date: 15th & 16th September 2023
🕰️ Time: from 8.30pm. Prepare yourself for a late finish as we will have to wait for it to get dark!
🗺️ Location: Five Rod Farm, Kenton Hall, Suffolk, IP14 6JU. What 3 words - isolating.oldest.talents
🎟️ Tickets: £10 per person. This includes a cup of tea and marshmallows for toasting. ALL proceeds go to

⭐️ Info on the evening: Well renowned Astronomer Tom Boles will be teaching us about the stars. Tom has been president of the British Astronomy Association and has over 50 years of experience with stars and galaxies He is known for having discovered a record number of supernovae. The main-belt asteroid 7648 Tomboles is named in his honour.

❓How it will work: Please save the dates. On the afternoon of the 15th September, we will update our website and social media

channels to let you know if the event is going ahead. By this point we should have a fair idea if the weather is going to be kind to us! We have allowed two evenings in case one is cloudy. Tickets are not sold in advance, simply arrive and buy your ticket on the farm gate.

🥾 Please bring very warm clothing, practical footwear, a chair (if you wish), binoculars and or a telescope if you have one!

This event welcomes everyone from beginners to enthusiasts! We look forward to hopefully seeing you and some beautiful stars on 15th/16th September!

We are really excited to announce that we now an ‘Approved Activity Provider’ for the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. We will be offer residential courses on the estate featuring accommodation in our glamping site and cookery at our on site school . Alongside gardening with Cam at !
