I received a lovely message today from last Sunday’s Mother of the Bride at 🤩

Every ‘thank you’ is massively appreciated and reassures me that I’m doing a good job!

Being a toastmaster is not just about looking after the couple, but also easing the pressure and stress from parents/family.

When your child gets married, I understand that you want it to be perfect. I will do all I can to help ease that burden so you can enjoy such a momentous occasion.

I love it when people have no pre-misconceptions of a toastmaster. The hardest part of my job is convincing people that have experienced a ‘poor’ toastmaster previously that I’m not mean, stuffy and shouty!

A really lovely message from yesterday’s Bride 🤩

It rained pretty much all day yesterday which is always so gutting - I wish I could control the weather! 😔

But through adversity is when true love shines! We had a brilliant day with a beautiful couple, fantastic guests and a wonderful team of suppliers.

A few photos from the naming ceremony I performed earlier this year for a beautiful baby girl (who slept peacefully all the way through!)

Blessings are all about the personal touch. This celebration took place at the family’s farm and so planting seeds was the perfect way to mark the occasion.

So much love surrounds this beautiful girl, it was a pleasure to perform a personal and heartfelt ceremony. 🩷 🌺

Lovely feedback from last Saturday’s wedding at 😍 such a gorgeous wedding to be a part of.

Last night when I got home from yesterday’s wedding, I was scrolling through instagram looking at all the amazing wedding suppliers that I follow. I started to feel a bit intimated by the AMAZING photographers, the INCREDIBLE musicians and the STUNNING cake makers.

Well timed feedback this morning to remind me that we all have our place on a wedding day and I might not play the harp or bake the most amazing macaron favours, but what I do is still important 😊.

Well done (ceiling fairy lights and chairs), (epic centre pieces) and (chair sashes and table decor)

We had a wonderful day and the rain was timed to perfection so our lovely couple managed all their photos outside in Rhinefield’s beautiful grounds.

On Saturday I donned my red jacket, but not for a wedding. I toastmastered for a Masonic Ladies Night at a hotel in Bournemouth.
It was an absolute pleasure and we had a brilliant evening!
