Lovely feedback from last Saturday’s wedding at 😍 such a gorgeous wedding to be a part of.
Last night when I got home from yesterday’s wedding, I was scrolling through instagram looking at all the amazing wedding suppliers that I follow. I started to feel a bit intimated by the AMAZING photographers, the INCREDIBLE musicians and the STUNNING cake makers.
Well timed feedback this morning to remind me that we all have our place on a wedding day and I might not play the harp or bake the most amazing macaron favours, but what I do is still important 😊.

We had a wonderful day and the rain was timed to perfection so our lovely couple managed all their photos outside in Rhinefield’s beautiful grounds.
On Saturday I donned my red jacket, but not for a wedding. I toastmastered for a Masonic Ladies Night at a hotel in Bournemouth.
It was an absolute pleasure and we had a brilliant evening!

At this wedding last June, I was hired to greet guests on arrival, take gifts etc, seat guests for the ceremony, help organise the group photos and announce dinner.

Over the past 8 years as a toastmaster, I have worked with lots of amazing wedding suppliers from photographers, videographers and florists to magicians, musicians and cake makers.
I really do try to go above and beyond for my couples and do not believe in a ‘that’s not my job’ approach. If I can make a suppliers job easier on a wedding day, I am always happy to help.
To all my lovely fellow wedding suppliers, I would love for 2024 to reach a new target of 50 weddings (I usually do 40) and your recommendations could really help.

I don’t think I’ve ever come across such a calm Bride! When I knocked on her bedroom door to take her to meet the registrars, I couldn’t believe she and her bridesmaids were ready and waiting, flowers in hand and room tidy! 😮 👏🏻
I usually attend all the wedding fayres at The Italian Villa, however, as I’m away in Cornwall this weekend I won’t be exhibiting tomorrow 😔

I can’t believe how beautiful the weather is today! Having been forecast to rain, it has been glorious! The happy couple had their ceremony outside at 1pm and they have been enjoying the sunshine all afternoon. It’s Wedding Breakfast time now and The Italian Gardens are beautifully sunny and quiet. ☀️ 👰♀️ 🤵♀️
Oh how I wish I was here right now! Chief beer/water/bouquet and veil holder while the happy couple had their photos taken. Almost exactly a year ago ☀️ Missing weddings sooo much!
