Well we didn’t expect so much interest when we announced that the first batch of our famous stollen was being made at Forkingout HQ today!

Unfortunately we’re not opening our Christmas shop this year as we are keeping busy in December with weddings and lots of Christmas parties but one lucky follower could win one of our famous Forkingout Stollens to enjoy this Christmas…

Our lovely Laura has decided to come on board at Forkingout full-time and with our new chef James who joined us recently, we’ve decided to open up our books a little more for 2025!

If you’re getting married or having an event next year and you’re still looking for someone to cater all your food and drink needs, get in touch. We work at many venues around the Wiltshire, Hampshire & Dorset area.

At Forkingout HQ our team of chefs are always coming up with new ideas and we’ve been spending lots of time in the kitchen designing new plates and menus ready for a busy period of tastings and menu planning with our 2025 couples!

Cheese Towers! 🧀

If you’re more of a savoury fan than a sweet tooth, our cheese towers are the perfect alternative to the traditional wedding cake.

Choose from our selection of locally sourced cheese wheels to create your perfect selection & why not add Forkingout’s famous pork pies into the mix!

All decorated beautifully with grapes & figs and can be served as your evening supper with an accompaniment of crackers, breads and chutneys for all of your guests to enjoy with a glass of port 🍷

Beautiful Barford Park Barn

We had such a wonderful time celebrating P & T’s very special day and what a day it was!

From Aperol Spritz and canapés on arrival to a fabulous Forkingout feast featuring Pork Belly with crackling, Rare Roast Sirloin of Beef and an oldie but a goodie, our Cheese, Onion & Potato pie (the recipe of which is a special Paffett family recipe!) followed by a family service of delicious bowls of Tiramisu.

The Barn looked as stunning as the food tasted and the candlelight set off the early evening wedding breakfast perfectly ✨✨✨

Tailored made menus…

We designed an Italian themed menu for a very special celebration today inspired by our client’s time spent in Sardinia.

We had so many compliments on the food so hats off to our talented team of chefs! 👨‍🍳👨‍🍳👨‍🍳

Starter: Charcuterie board
Pasta course: Wild Mushroom Tortellini
Main course: Pan Fried Hake with a Shrimp Bisque
Dessert: Raspberry Mousse with Pan Forte

Shout out to for the delicious charcuterie meat. The bresaola was particularly fantastic!

Hello Hazlenut Meringue 🌰🍓

Pudding yesterday was delicious if we do say so ourselves!

If you’re a chocolate lover, this dessert is for you! Our velvety chocolate mouse is sandwiched between two hazelnut meringues all dressed with chocolate & strawberry drizzle and fresh strawberries 🍓

You can even choose a mini version as part of your Forkingout trio of desserts!

“The toddler took a stroll through the Larmer Tree gardens, the toddlers saw the Gruffalo and the Gruffalo looked fun!!!

Come along for a stroll around Larmer Tree gardens as we read and explore the much loved story, The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson.

Our morning will consist of a walk and a Gruffalo themed search and find activity around the woods/garden with different Gruffalo activities and crafts to do along the way. This will then be followed up with a chance to visit the onsite cafe (Gruffalo Crumble will not be on the menu I’m afraid) but I’ve heard the coffee and cakes are good! You are also welcome to bring along a picnic if you want to enjoy lunch in the garden after the event.

Please note that for any additional children there is a further £10 charge to cover the activities and goody bag costs.

Dress up is absolutely welcome if you want to! 🐭 🦊 🦉 🐍

Today marks the end of an era, the day our lovely Millie departs for pastures new!

We were so impressed with Millie’s front of house skills we promoted her back in 2022 from a part-time role with us, to assistant manager working closely with our Larmer Tree couples.

We will miss her hard work, her beaming smile, her professionalism and definitely her snacks! 🤭

We wish you all the luck in your new role Millie! It’s not goodbye, simply see you soon!
