Many of the Monday night team are helping at the Newcaste under Lyme Youth Omnium. Which will be held on Saturday 18th May This is a great outdoor track. Event is open to Youth A, B and C riders. Entries close Sat 11 May

Velodrome problems yesterday my Summer car has decided to give me some issues today so it may end on a recovery truck later as I made it to work, with a miss fire, codes read miss fire cylinder 5 then when trying to start it it stopped dead, plugs out turned by hand and a spoonful of fuel came out of cylinder 5 so that proved no ignition on cylinder 5 but the starter motor is not engaging with the flywheel to turn the engine over it just spins, so it looks like a starter motor (unless there is a shear pin that has failed and protected the engine) and a set of coils packs and plugs. Should I ring BMW for a laugh no I know it is over £160 plus vat and hour that the same price as the velodrome per hour.

I clearly don't have enough hair to give the line judges this problem But some riders do can I ask that those lucky enough to have so much hair tie it up out of the way of the race numbers thanks
