Delighted to work once again with Glow Events as resident DJ for 2025. It’s an honour and privelege to continue the long term relationship which actually began over a decade ago now!

2025 sees my 9th year at The Gardens in Yalding, 6th at The Orangery in Maidstone and 5th at The Castle Westenhanger.

I very much look forward to ensuring truly memorable celebrations with all the wonderful couples, fully supported by my fellow legends of the resident DJ team, the professional dedicated staff and management at all the venues, and of course working with the awesome recommended suppliers!

This year I’m going to try and be a little more present on my socials where possible (bear with me - I’m looking to add some new kit to my setup which will help capture some content for posting!).

Couples / clients / guests; please do tag yourselves in any of my content!

Photographers and videographers; please feel free to send me any pics/clips of me working my wizardry!!

It would be lovely for couples, clients, colleagues to help with kickstarting this year; please leave a review on my Decksteria page if you haven’t done so already. It really does help future clients and couples to get a better understanding of my services, and moreso to feel reassured that they won’t be hearing the birdie song and agadoo all night (not unless that’s their thing, of course…!)

So sad to hear of the passing of Fatman Scoop, he died after collapsing on stage doing what he loved. Aged just 53 gone far too soon.

His stage presence was unreal and in my view his ability to hype a crowd was unmatched.

So very lucky to have seen him live in Las Vegas earlier this year performing at Zouk nightclub, alongside my wingman Damian Hiscock

I’ll forever cherish those memories and tonite I’ll be dropping what, in my view, remains the biggest track he is most renowned for.

Another banger of a night at The Orangery for a Sunday wedding! Uplifting and sing-along tunes were the newlywed’s preference for the evening. Some great memories made for a wonderful couple! Huge congratulations Sydney-May & Ollie.

Well here we are at the end of another year; at times it’s gone slow, then too quickly, as per usual!

Worked hard, very hard actually. It’s in my DNA to do so. Next year is no different and presents itself some major challenges for me. We will see!

I’m approaching 15 years service at Edify that’s the longest I’ve ever held an employed post - quite proud of that and what I’ve done at the firm so far.

Can’t remember how many years I’ve been properly DJing now but it’s a lot and I’m grateful for the privilege of performing to thousands of people and the hundreds of couples celebrate marriage.

Played hard too, but not as hard as I would have liked. Maybe that will change in 2024 with some good plans forming already. A bit more fun and more travelling too!

Not going to post details & photos of accomplishments and issues over the year they’re for my own memories. Some stuff is already in here in Facebook to scroll back and look upon anyway in years to come.

No real resolutions either - they never work! Aspirations yeah I’ve got some including I’d like to get back to doing some fishing - always helps me find my inner calm when “Life” just gets a bit “heavy” ya know?!

Anyway whether you’re misbehaving, kitchen raving, out and about or in on the couch. Enjoy New Year’s Eve in whatever capacity you choose to.

Thanks to all my family, friends, bosses, colleagues and customers over this past year - sincerely appreciated everything you all do, in your own special ways!

Pop up to London yesterday with friends and Dj colleagues for a business meeting and then the annual Christmas drink! What a great time we all had! Fantastic time in Dirty Martini for happy hour or 2 😂 not many pics taken as too busy making the memories!! Ho ho ho!! Merry Christmas everyone 🎅 🥳 🍸

Every so often an absolute belter of a tune comes along that I just can’t stop playing. This time round it’s the mighty Switch Disco - Vacancy.

Absolutely love it. Everything about it is just spot on - atmospheric and uplifting melody, a powerful vocal and driving bass line it is going to energize dance floors that’s for sure. It’s great to see commercial music getting back to peak anthem dance anthem calibre.

Reminds me of the late 90s trance era. Sitting here at 330am with the tunes up full whack in my headphones reminiscing of the many great memories from back 20 odd years ago. In fact that played a key part in inspiring me to create Decksteria. Yeah I know I play multi format and have built my success through doing that giving the paying client their desired soundtrack to suit their event, within reason, but my heart lies in dance music and it always will.
