A week tonight it will be ' Friday Night Fever ' time again at Strings Bar & Venue - Isle Of Wight. Another great weekend ahead in two weeks time with not one but two public events! Not only am I bringing all the disco classics to Strings Bar & Venue - Isle Of Wight but the next night I'm literally just round the corner at Vectis Social Club with a night of pure 80s! No excuses for anyone who lived that music, originally like I did or anyone who just loves the best retro years, to miss out on either or both of these fantastic nights at the start of November! My view from the decks of a full dancefloor start to finish is always my measure of a great night. Thanks to everyone who came last night to Strings Bar & Venue - Isle Of Wight and danced non-stop at 'Our Friends Electric'. Some great requests too! Tonight's the night and we are all set up ready at Strings Bar & Venue - Isle Of Wight for Our Friends Electric. Thanks to Claydon for an excellent sound mix this morning in preparation for my music mix of those early 1980s new romantic and synth classic floor fillers. Thanks also to everyone who again has purchased tickets in advance. Doors open at 730pm and it's still not too late to join us for a fantastic retro night. Also, as you know I love to play your music so any final pre gig requests please send them now and I will try and include them! See you all just over 6 hours from now.

Here we go! Final call for any advance reduced on-line tickets for Saturday night. All remaining tickets will be £10 on the night. I can't wait for the third instalment of the best 80s synth pop and new romantic classics. Doors open 7.30pm and the dancing usually starts at 7.31pm - it's that infectious, see you there!

Today I have been compiling an amazing selection of dance floor fillers for this Saturday's third instalment of 'Our Friends Electric'. ' Don't forget to message or post any advance requests so I can include them - where possible. If you are planning on joining us - but not yet purchased your tickets - now is the time to do it as if you leave it to chance to dance, any remaining tickets - if available by then - will as always cost 'more on the door! Looking forward to seeing another full dance floor with lots of happy smiling faces as we revive and relive the best early 80s electronic dance music.

Wow, what can I say, from a DJs perspective when doors open at 730pm and the dancing is already underway at 745pm to the background 'slower' disco, we know it's going to be a great night - and it was! Thanks to everyone who came along to Strings Bar & Venue - Isle Of Wight Studio 54 event and indulged in a night of classic, disco memories and filled the dancefloor from start to finish with smiles on your faces to the infectious feel good music! Just 3 hours to tonight's first Studio 54 night and the show is ready at Strings Bar & Venue - Isle Of Wight and with lots of tickets sold already- and before I even play a tune tonight - Claydon and the team have just booked another for November! Fantastic news! Still time though not to miss tonight which I am so ready for. So put on your dancing shoes and come down straight after the carnival for a great night of nothing but pure disco classics guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
