Hi I’m Sam,

I’m a wedding planner and celebrant specialising in bespoke weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies in Berkshire, Surrey and Buckinghamshire.

My mission is to make wedding ceremonies fun, personal & unique, one ceremony at a time. I’m on a mission to empower couples to create memorable wedding days by escaping the restrictions of a dull civil wedding. I want to make wedding ceremonies fun, personal and unique, one ceremony at a time. I do this by weaving your unique love story into a heartfelt, emotional ceremony filled with love and la

ughter, and injected with both your personalities. There will be no dreary, monotonous, silence filled ceremonies on my watch! I leave your guests laughing out loud, understanding you more as a couple, and asking how long we have been friends. Join me on this journey to make your unforgettable ceremony individually unique to you, and proudly stand out from the crowd. Additionally, as I am also a wedding planner it is possible for me to advise on all aspects of the wedding and order of the day. I’m able to do On the Day Coordination, conduct the ceremony and then go back to coordinating the day, which makes SDCelebrations pretty unusual. 🌟Last week the regional finals (South Central) was held at the wonderful

🌟This was my first year entering these awards as a Planner instead of a Celebrant so it was completely unknown territory.

🌟Whilst I didn’t walk away with an award I was genuinely thrilled to make it that far.

🌟I adore being a wedding planner and
helping so many amazing couples create their dream weddings, and awards like this give me the fire to keep doing a job that I love SO much!

🌟Last week 30 excitable celebrants met for a lovely day of learning and building community in Oxford with the awesome

🌟It was lovely to hug so many celebrants in person who I have virtually met, and to catch up with some celebrant legends.

🌟The next day I attended a wedding suppliers meeting with 150 wedding businesses.

🌟I made the effort to seek out 4 other celebrants that I knew were in the room to say hi.

🌟Other suppliers said to me “why are you taking the time to speak to other celebrants? Shouldn’t you talk to suppliers that you could actually work with?”

🌟Ummm…. That’s not really how Celebrants operate! We are all about and I literally wouldn’t have it any other way!

🌟Fellow celebrants continue to sparkle in your unique way! 🌟

🐍I will always champion couples to have the wedding day of their dreams, and yesterday’s couple did just that by having an interactive reptile encounter after the wedding breakfast!

🐍Kids and adults alike were thrilled to interact with a variety of wonderful snakes, lizards, and a tortoise from

🐍I jumped at the chance to hold tiny Wilson and the very large Custard Cream Junior who weighs in at an impressive 17.5kg!

🧡Massive congratulations to C and S who got married yesterday 🥂

🧡Their ceremony started on a high with the bridal party entering to the Avengers theme tune expertly played by

🧡Their ceremony was full to the brim with love, and laughter, and it was an emotional moment for all as the couple said heartfelt vows to their son.

🧡I love it when my couples take my advice, and after getting to know them both I suggested that they use a Pokémon Pokeball as their ring box and they jumped at the idea.

🧡This added such a personal element to their ring exchange.

🧡They used an explosion of beautiful Autumnal colours which complemented the venue and the bridal party perfectly. With flowers and moon arch just the perfect addition.

🧡As their mini on the day coordinator I dressed all of their Baileys themed banqueting tables, and the Vineyard barn looked amazing with the dramatic pop of colour and personal touches.

🧡C looked amazing in her stunning dress (complete with pockets!) and more importantly stayed comfy all day opting for bridal converse trainers and bridal socks!

🧡It really was such a beautiful day. 🥂

💍 At the ring exchange moment during your wedding ceremony. I will say a line and you will repeat after me whilst sliding the ring on the finger of your fiancé.

💍We will practice this at your rehearsal so that you remember to look at your fiancé and not at me as you try and remember the words to repeat.

💍By drawing attention to the fact that you are looking at me during the rehearsal, we can have a joke about it.

💍I will remind you that you are not marrying me and must look at who your ARE marrying!

💍This rehearsal will 100% help you on the day as you will remember what I said and all your focus will be on who your are marrying and not looking at me!

🍂 Happy 52nd Anniversary to my mum and dad, that is a serious length of time to be together!

🍁For their 50th Anniversary I organised a photoshoot with the fab in the October sunshine.

🍂These pictures now have pride of place in their home.

💜Come on down to in Hurley on Sunday 27th to meet lots of fab suppliers with and to see the beautiful venue in all its glory.

💜The show is open 11am-3pm (don’t forget the clocks go back so we get an extra hour in bed!)

🔔Did you know that one of my other wedding roles is as a Duty Wedding Coordinator at Royal Holloway University in Egham?

🔔This role within the team keeps me close to where my wedding planning journey began as I was the Conference and Banqueting manager there for 10 years.

🔔I love popping back to help coordinate the weddings for past alumni.

🔔I put my hand up straight away when I heard that a wedding a few weeks ago was going to be conducted by The Rt Rev Dr Rowan Willians the ex Archbishop of Canterbury.

🔔It was a wonderful experience to witness this wedding ceremony and to grab a quick photo with him, the happy couple and my boss afterwards.

🍾Ahhhhh results are in and for the 4th year running I am through to the South Central Regional Finals of The Wedding Industry Awards!

🍾This years it’s a bit different though as I entered in the category Planner instead of Celebrant (after being nominated).

🍾So excited to be recognised for what I originally set my business up for ten years ago.

🍾Being a wedding planner was always my teenage dream and it was only once I set that business up that I decided to train to become a celebrant too.

🍾Both businesses complement each other perfectly.

🍾The awards are in 7 weeks, so I’ll keep my fingers tightly crossed.

🩵Massive congratulations to K & T who I had the pleasure of marrying on Saturday

🩵Their ceremony brought their family and friends along the journey of their love story, and more than one happy tear was shed amongst the assembled guests.

🩵The small barn looked resplendent with the light blue chair sashes and stunning floral arch from
With the addition of canopy lights from really adding to the wow factor.

🩵We were serenaded throughout the day by the wonderful who played during the ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast!

🩵As I was also K and T’s mini coordinator I arrived 3 hours before the ceremony to lay out their place cards and personal items. Then after the ceremony I repurposed their ceremony flowers into the wedding breakfast, and was grateful for a little help carrying the floral arch from T’s best man and another guest.

🩵Such a wonderful day, and thankfully when we needed it too the weather behaved!

📹If you are not hiring a professional videographer or content creator get one of your guests to video the wedding speech’s on a mobile phone.

📹You will be caught up in the emotion of the moment and won’t be able to take in all the words.

💜Massive congratulations to S and A who got married on Thursday at Stanlake Park Vineyard.

💜Their wedding ceremony was filled with personal touches, unique elements and lots of love.

💜Highlights included a couples quiz, surprise witness lottery, and the most heartfelt personal vows.

💜Over the past year the bride and I have bonded over our mutual obsession with the colour purple, and it has been great finding ways to incorporate this pop of colour into the day!

💜Plus, once I found out the wedding was Wisteria themed I was thrilled to be able to stand in front of the stunning Wisteria moongate wearing my Popsy Wisteria dress.

💜As the couples celebrant and on the day coordinator some of the things that I did for them included : Styling the banqueting room and putting out all their personal touches and signage.

💜Plus, conducting their ceremony, and repurposing all their flowers and candles after the ceremony to their second location.

💜So so lovely to be reunited with some of my favourite wedding supplier family who make working a wedding day with them a complete dream!

🌺 Tis the season for putting on hundred’s of floral buttonholes, and I for one am here for it!

🌺Did you know that most people haven’t a clue how to put a button hole on or where to place it.

🌺It can actually cause a ripple of stress throughout the groomsmen.

🌺At all my weddings I am chief buttonholeputterona.

🌺I’ll get your wedding party to pretend to put them on for the professional photo, and then I’ll swoop in and place them correctly.

🌺This way they are all in the same position, and this definitely stands out in the photos.

🌺I would say on average each August that I attach approximately 100 buttonholes!

🌺If I had £1 for each time one of the bridal party that I am attaching them too pretends that I have stabbed them I could definitely go out for a slap up meal! 🤣
