Hi I’m Sam,

I’m a wedding planner and celebrant specialising in bespoke weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies in Berkshire, Surrey and Buckinghamshire.

My mission is to make wedding ceremonies fun, personal & unique, one ceremony at a time. I’m on a mission to empower couples to create memorable wedding days by escaping the restrictions of a dull civil wedding. I want to make wedding ceremonies fun, personal and unique, one ceremony at a time. I do this by weaving your unique love story into a heartfelt, emotional ceremony filled with love and la

ughter, and injected with both your personalities. There will be no dreary, monotonous, silence filled ceremonies on my watch! I leave your guests laughing out loud, understanding you more as a couple, and asking how long we have been friends. Join me on this journey to make your unforgettable ceremony individually unique to you, and proudly stand out from the crowd. Additionally, as I am also a wedding planner it is possible for me to advise on all aspects of the wedding and order of the day. I’m able to do On the Day Coordination, conduct the ceremony and then go back to coordinating the day, which makes SDCelebrations pretty unusual. 💜By booking me as a celebrant we get to know each other, and once I know your personalities I can suggest additions that we can add into your ceremony.

💜I knew how much this couple love a selfie, so it was only right that the first selfie they took on their wedding day was actually during the wedding ceremony!

💜I hid one of their phones within the floral arch at the top of the aisle and then brought it out at the end of the ceremony so they could get the shot.

🩵Happy 1st Anniversary K and T who I had the pleasure of marrying last year on a beautiful September’s day.

🩵Their ceremony brought their family and friends along through the journey of their love story, and more than one happy tear was shed amongst the assembled guests.

🩵As I was also K and T’s mini coordinator I arrived 3 hours before the ceremony to lay out their place cards and personal items. Then after the ceremony I repurposed their ceremony flowers and welcome display.

🩵Sometimes you just need a little bit of extra support on your wedding day which I am more than happy to provide.

🩵Always wonderful to work with the fab .photo who took this photo, and to listen to the amazing who played throughout the day.

🩵Massive congratulations to A and J who got married on Friday at the beautiful on Hayling Island.

🩵This wedding hit a little different to my heart than the usual, as back when I was a Conference and Banqueting Manager at Royal Holloway University I employed the bride for a few years from when she was 16.

🩵To be asked 15+ years later to coordinate her wedding really was the utmost privilege.

🩵Fluffing a bride’s dress just before they walk down the aisle is always one of my favourite moments of a wedding, and to be able to do this for A really was a goosebump moment.

🩵Highlights included:

🚠A DIY mountain wooden arch backdrop made by the Groom.

🥂Wowzer yesterday was such a fun wedding!

🥂I first met C and C at and they told me all about their relaxed festival / scout camp wedding theme, and it sounded right up my street!

🥂The couple chose to get married at the stunning in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside.

🥂Festival glam was the order of the day and their guests did not disappoint with bright suits and sparkles, and I jumped at the chance to wear my lightning bolt jumpsuit.

Highlights included:
💖A beautiful and meaningful Pagan hand fasting conducted by the wonderful
💖Personalised festival cups.
💖Yummy catering from Agota
💖Two delicious wedding cakes with “About Damn Time” on the top” and a sword to cut them.
💖Fun group and portrait shoots with the talented
💖A guest making a mini Stonehenge out of the Jenga blocks.
💖The bride dress was an altered version of her grandmothers wedding dress, and she proudly wore bespoke cat earrings of each of her cats.
💖A wide collective of talented crafty folk put their all into personalising the day.
From bespoke directional wooden signage, embroidered denim jackets for the wedding party.
The couples cat themed colouring sheets, ordnance survey paper buttonholes and bouquet, and so much more.

💜Happy 1st Anniversary to S and A.🥂

💜They got married on a beautifully sunny day last September at the wonderful

💜They had originally booked a registrar for their wedding, but then found out about how amazing a celebrant ceremony could be, so cancelled the registrar and booked me!!

💜Their wedding ceremony was filled with personal touches, unique elements and lots of love.

💜Highlights included a couples quiz, surprise witness lottery, and the most heartfelt personal vows.

💜Would a registrar have found out that the wedding was wisteria themed so then wore their wisteria dress so that they matched?? I doubt it very much!

🩵Massive congratulations to A & C who got married on Wednesday 🥂

💙Their wedding ceremony brought the loudest cheers & reactions from their guests that I’ve had at any wedding this year. The collective joy was lovely to hear.

🩵More than a couple of tears were shed as I took their captivated guests on the journey of their love story (mostly from their bridesmaids ❤️).

💙They chose to do a first look prior to the ceremony and took that opportunity to say their vows to each other in private too. Which was a lovely moment to witness.

🥂On Sunday A & E did just that when they got married at Reading School.

🥂So much time, effort & planning had gone into personalising the day & making it exactly what they both wanted.

🥂Boy did they cram a whole lot in!
