Wow, it has been our busiest summer since we started all those years ago! We apologies for a lack of Social Media for the last few months.

We were very lucky to be catering for this lovely couple.

Our last wedding of 2023. Christmas themed and lots of fun. Wonderful couple and guests!

Service: Buffet
No of guests: 74
Courses: Canapes, Paella (mixed, meat feast, roasted vegetable), Trio of desserts, Evening food
Included: Terracotta, plates, cutlery and napkins (all FOC)

More than half of the guests returned for paella seconds, some even came back for thirds! Not a hungry guest in the house by the time we had finished serving the wedding breakfast.

Our friends at The Local Scoop have invested in one of these and will be transforming it!

They make their own amazing ice-cream and have already catered for a number of our couples too, as well as lots of their own bookings.

They can even create your own special recipe, and personalise the cones etc.

Get in touch with them about 2024 before it's too late.

Scoop is going mobile!!! 🤩🍦🚐

We’ve taken our next leap of faith and bought a catering trailer 😬 so we can start bringing our incredibe dessert menu and award winning icecream closer to you!

It’s getting to the time of year where it’s not feasible for us to be open everyday 😔 so after this weekend we will be going down to only being open Friday, Saturday and Sunday again so we can focus on bringing back and levelling up our bakes, creating sensational, seasonal icecream flavours and getting our Betty ready for action 😍 she’s an absolute beauty and I am so excited for new adventures with her!

Let us know if there’s anywhere we need to be popping up, where are the good spots at? Who wants us?
I’d like to say we’d love to be ready by the end of October but she needs a little tlc and we need to ‘Scoop’ her up a bit and make her our own so who knows how long that will take! But as soon as she’s ready for you I’ll be letting you know 🍦💓

"Andy, Debbie and Marcus catered our wedding at Exeter Castle back in April 2023. We initially chose Buen Apetito because they made everything easy for us – transparent pricing, clear menu options, and an easygoing initial meeting that laid out what we could expect from them. Andy and Marcus were happy to tweak the menu to fit our preferences both before and after our tasting, and what a tasting it was – we got to try some of everything and were eating delicious leftovers for days!

On the day the Buen Apetito team were the perfect mix of friendly, professional and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and everything ran to time. Marcus catered for all dietary requirements seamlessly within the menu, and the food was delicious and plentiful. In fact plentiful is an understatement, there was So. Much. Food. Our guests left happy and full and we couldn’t have asked for anything more."
