It’s been almost 12 years since I last photographed at the highly impressive Hodsock Priory, but what a way to return!!!

Chloe & Jamie had a very personal ceremony which was conducted by Paula the excellent celebrant, which was surrounded by loved ones and it was one heck of a day!!!

I’d also like to give a special mention to the bridesmaids. Chloe and these ladies together are hilarious and have very infectious personalities that had me crying with laughter all day!

A big thanks must also go to Shannon, Jess & Skye and all the staff at Hodsock Priory for their professionalism and for being so welcoming and helpful with us.

What a wedding!!! I mean this had everything a photographer could wish for. Stunning historic church and venue. Arriving spectacularly on a horse & carriage and of course a fantastic couple to photograph. Oh and what a dress!!!

Laura & Nick were married at the very picturesque St Andrews Church in Witham-on-the-Hill and then celebrated at amazing Harlaxton Manor. My son calls this venue Hogwarts. It is such a stunning place to photograph a wedding.

This was a beautiful intimate wedding. Emma looked simply stunning in a dress that she and her mum made themselves.

Ed & Emma were married at All Saints Church in North Scarle and then celebrated at the impressive Harbour Lights at Burton Waters near Lincoln. Both are places that I haven’t photographed before.

It was back to the fantastic Dower House again! I know but honestly we have not got a residency there 🤣

This time we got to have some crazy fun at Chris & Kereh’s wedding. Sadly the weather didn’t play ball but as you can see it didn’t stop us from having a great laugh and being a bit creative with some of the photos. There may have been a few tears shed too throughout the day.

I would like to give Kereh massive respect because this gorgeous heavily pregnant lady just breezed through the day and enjoyed every moment.

Now this wedding was nuckin futs which just made it super cool and very unique!

Darcie wanted something different and utilised Jade (Dower House legend) to help walk two beautiful pups walk down the aisle as ring bearers. Then the small matter of 2 x ceremonies in one day which I gotta say was awesome even if not originally planned. I got to try the ring of fire shot! Never done that before because golden hour has been in hiding so far this year.

I mean there is so many highlights from this wedding that’s its impossible to mention them all, however I will say Darcie looked absolutely stunning!!!

Talk about perfect weather for a festival themed wedding. The sun shone, the alcohol flowed and everyone was in a great mood which created a wonderful atmosphere for Amy & Sam’s wedding.

All aboard!!!

Even with the challenge of a dismal wet day we got to have a lot of fun with a cool trip to Ryan’s workplace for some very unique photos.

This time I got to capture the fantastic wedding of Chelsea & Ryan who were married at St Barnabus Church in Bartnetby and then celebrated at the impressive Cleethorpes Golf Club.

Hooray! The sun finally came out!!!

It was another very funny wedding to work with lots of extremely nice people. We even managed to see a spitfire flying by too.

Well it turns out that you can organise a p1ss up in a brewery!!! And the best part is it was AMAZING!

I now might have some new pub buddies in Lucy & Sean too!

This was an extremely fun wedding with mixed weather, but the sun came out in the end! There was plenty of laughter with the garden games although I must admit some guests should not be allowed to hold a golf club again!!!

Lucy & Sean were married at the very impressive Pheasantry Brewery in East Markham.

I would like to give a big shout out to Danielle and all the staff for being super friendly and massively helpful. It was a pleasure to work at Phesantry Brewery and I cannot wait to return again.

So yesterday I got to spend some time getting to know Kieran & Katie. This was a pre-wedding shoot in the glorious sunshine at Hartsholme Park in Lincoln.

I’ve got to say this was a lot of fun and seeing Katie laugh the way she does just gets me really excited for their wedding later this year. It will be fun and its guaranteed there will be laughter!

The best part of my job is I get to meet some absolutely fantastic people. I would certainly put both Steph & Mike firmly in that category.

From the very welcoming ‘please eat some food’ at the bridal prep right through to the ‘field of dreams’ photo; I can honestly say this wedding was a total pleasure to photograph!

What a way to return to the Dower House Hotel in Woodhall Spa.

Even though the weather was a bit rubbish during the day it certainly didn’t stop us from having some fun! I love that fact that Jade the event manager couldn’t resist joining in too! See if you can spot her 🤣

Katherine & Kered you guys rock! The minute you said we have a bubble machine I knew the shot that I wanted to capture for you. A simple set-up of 2 x flashes, 1 x bubble machine, an enthusiastic best man blasting away the bubbles and an amazing couple!!! Personally I love the end result and I hope you all do too.

It was fantastic to be back in my home city and return to the fabulous Lincoln Hotel.
This time I got to photograph the lovely Rheanne & Kelvin plus all their crazy friends! Yes there were a few that were a bit mental 🤣

Some highlights for me were capturing all the tears of happiness from Kelvin, the godfather shot (you’ll know it when you see it) and of course the flower dudes! Although seeing the best man cry when Rheanne & Kelvin met at the beginning of the ceremony was pretty cool too!

The whole day was filled with lots of emotion and laughter and was brilliant to capture.

This is how you celebrate a wedding! You spend time together, you laugh, you have chilled out moments together and you party hard with everyone there!!!

Honestly this was great fun to capture. So Lucy & Connor thank you, thank you, thank you for being utterly AMAZING!!! I have to also give a big shout out to all your family & friends for being so nice and funny. You definitely have some characters that made it feel like it wasn’t a work day.

Lastly Stubton Hall. This venue always delivers! From lovely & helpful staff to the beautiful grounds and impressive building which honestly does make it a photographers dream.
