Well that's a wrap on the 2024 cricket season. It's been a grind but we got there in the end. A huge thank you to Dane Bryan and Liam Hirst especially for their efforts leading the 1st team in some very difficult situations. Congratulations to the 2nd team led by Fildus Vincent on securing the league trophy for Division 3. We'll get a presentation night arranged and let you all know the date asap.

Dane Bryan’s men travel away to Bedford in Southport whilst the div 3 league champions Fildus Vincent are at home against burscough to finish the season.

Fantastic results for the first team today under Liam Hirst. They won away from home against Dalton marking his first win as captain with Dane Bryan away this week. He won the toss and elected to bowl winning by 4 wickets chasing 107. The fielding was outstanding with some blinders being taken. Good to see the lads taking the chances under Liam and not Dane 😂

Thank you all that played and helped them out today. The continued support of this club is phenomenal. 😘

Congratulations to both teams on great wins today. The 1sts beating Mossley Hill at home and the 2nds victorious at New Victoria. To be confirmed but we believe that's enough for the 2nds to clinch the Division 3 title.

Great game of cricket down the park today.

Prescott won the toss and put Mary’s in. Skipper Dane Bryan top scored with 73. Congratulations to Dean Fairclough who got his 500th Prescott wicket today which coincidentally was the captain.
Mary’s lost in the last over of the match by 1 wickets. A fantastic effort from both team showcasing a brilliant game.

The seconds continued their top of the table form with a 124 run win today. Keep it up!

Even worse news is Mike Doco Docherty won the bonus ball with 45. ☹️

Congratulations to both teams who squeezed home with close victories yesterday. The 1st team by 1 run at Aughton thanks to Robert Courtney with a magnificent 120. The 2nds beat Aigburth 2nds at home by 2 wickets chasing 125.

Well done today to both teams on securing victory against tough oppositions.

Dane Bryan won the toss and put an unbeaten Aigburth in. They was restricted to 112 with Robert Courtney getting four wickets. The lads fielded brilliant except for one person…… sorry skipper
This was knocked off 5 wickets down with Rob following up with 38 and Dane getting 25. (Both got bowled by jaffers btw) Their words not ours 👀😂

The seconds kept the heat on staying top of the league with a good win at Earlstown. This leaves them top still just going past the halfway mark. Keep it up Fildus Vincent and Co.
