I know this day can be hard for some, sending you all love.

The happiest of days to the pure love that is my Mum everyone who knows her knows what a warm, kind and genuine person she is. I am so lucky to call her Mum. 🤍🩷

How have we made it to November!
So much has been going on behind the scenes here at SHFD and it’s been a tough few months with poorly/injured family members, and it’s taken its toll!
Looking back over this summers gorgeous wedding creations has been so good for the soul!
Seeds have been planted, consultation calls have been done and I’m about to get back into full swing of proposal writing and contacting all of my lovely 2025 couples before our last wedding of the year next week. So thank you for all your patience whilst things have been a bit rough 🩷

English summer garden ceremony set up 🩷
Imagine marrying your love on a little island in the grounds of a gorgeous stately home in the English countryside surrounded by beautiful florals… well A&B did just that
We lined their aisle with floral runners packed full of seasonal summer flowers leading down to a broken arch to nicely frame A&B as they said their vows 🩷

L’s bouquet was packed full of the best that June has on offer, the fluffiest homegrown peonies, heavenly sweetpeas, garden roses, spray roses, scabious, stocks, snaps, achillea and astilbe. What a combination in our favourite blush pink colour palette 🤍

I can’t wait to to show you more of their dreamy day thank you for capturing our flowers so beautifully 🤍

Inside or outside ceremony? ☀️🌧️

Friday saw us set up for both with a last minute change of plan to move outside into the gorgeous grounds. Having floral designs that can be easily moveable is a must. Luckily our urns and runners can be used throughout your day, to make a statement during your ceremony and then being repurposed during your wedding breakfast. 🥂

Ps yes my team did get a little wet whilst moving these florals back inside 🌧️☔️but we always go the extra mile to make sure we can deliver you the day you dreamed of! … more ☀️☀️ now please!!

‘Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue’ 💙

For Leah who married her love last week, our signature style bouquet which is timeless, elegant and romantic. We used a soft palette of blush pink and ivory with a hint of blue for Leah’s ‘something blue’ which we discuss during their studio visit over tea and cake! I love getting to hear about all aspects of your wedding and working out ways in which we can help with the small details that make a big difference.

A floral filled aisle, sunshine and gorgeous countryside views, it couldn’t have been better for and Cameron on Friday.
Soft frothy meadow runners lined the aisle packed full of the best of May’s offerings, including peonies, larkspur, roses, stock and cow parsley.
