The latest acquisition for the National Film & Sci-Fi Museum - this was an absolute must for us, as it was such an important part of Dave Prowse life.
We really wanted this to exhibit in the Museum as it truly is an icon from British Television in the 70's and 80's.
This will be on display for everyone to see when the Museum opens in late July 2021.

We are very sad to have to inform you that Dave Prowse has passed away aged 85. Dave has been suffering for some time and has not been attending events for several years. His first ever collectors event was with us, Showmasters, in the UK in the 80s and his last ever public event in the world was also with us. The Dave Prowse Empire Day ran for him to say one last good by to all his fans. Dave was dedicated to meeting the fans for decades and lots of fans' first ever guest they met was Dave in the early days of Comic Cons and collectors events. Dave was larger than life and he will so very much missed. Our love and thoughts go out to his family. Jason Joiner

Here’s a rundown of how the 10x8 sale works: **some things have changed so please read even if you've participated before**

Sale event starts at 7pm

A series of posts will go up on this page containing the signed pieces which have each been assigned a lot number. It will show you the unique item to that lot, tell you the price, and let you know how many are available for purchase. Please note - there may be some slight variations from the item pictured, such as a different colour of ink, or slightly different placement.

To purchase the item, you simply comment on the post the word ‘Claim’. The opportunity to purchase is awarded to the fastest claimer/s. E.g. The first person to comment on that post 'claim' is the one who wins! If there are multiple items available, for example 2 of the autographs, then it will be the first 2 people to comment claim. The page will confirm if you have been successful in your claim with a comment.

The items will be posted on the page one after the other and they will likely be claimed quite quickly so if you have your eye on something you may not want to wait before claiming.

At 11pm the lots will be closed to any new claims.

In the event that you have successfully claimed an item but are unable to complete the purchase please message the page directly. Please do not just delete the claim post.

The winners will receive a message from the page with a link to PayPal to make their payment. Winners will be contacted Sunday morning and payments will need to be made promptly to enable the smooth and quick delivery of your item/s. As payment is due upon winning the item, please ensure you only claim what you are able to.

The items will all come with our authentication and will ship within 10 - 14 working days of payment received via a signed and tracked service and will include one protective top-loader per 3 10x8s. Items from different sales are not able to be combined across sales as they are being posted out from different locations. However, if you wish to combine postage from the same sale with another member of the same household please let us know first thing when we contact you to avoid any delays.

Auction items will be charged postage separately from any items won in the 10x8 sale due to the location of the item and it's different postage and packaging requirements.

The signed items will then be part of your treasured collection to do with as you will 🙂
