I've started in the travel industry over 20 years ago, starting with Thomson Holidays (now Tui) and then the good old days of teletext holidays …how things have changed! I spent 15 years as an event and wedding planner working at some of the most prestigious hotels and venues, including Weston Park in Shropshire. I have arranged over 1000 weddings and lost count of the number of private parties, corporate events and activity days. I returned to travel in 2012 specialising in weddings abroad and luxury travel, and then started my travel business with Travel Counsellors.

I saw these photos today from our partner supplier in Iceland.
Anyone living local to me will know how bad our roads are. In Iceland they do things differently!
Following the most recent volcanic eruption, lava has slowly but surely been making it's way towards Grindarvíkurvegur on Reykjanes Peninsula.
The lava has now reached it, so the Blue Lagoon is closed today, 08 June. This is because all roads to reach the Blue Lagoon are closed. But can you believe they are already re-building roads over the lava.

The media often gives a negative view following volcanic eruptions in Iceland and I've spoken to a few people recently who have put off planned trips to Iceland because of it. Personally I'd be delighted to have a chance to see an eruption.

My goodness, it's been so long since I've been able to access my business page! Sadly I can't say that I've been enjoying a trip to Sao Paulo, Brazil, where my login had been spending time over the last few weeks.
I'm relieved to have my access back as I could get no assistance whatsoever from the Facebook chatbot to restore my access. Only by chance when my personal page got hacked at the weekend was I able to reset everything and wallah!
So, in short, I am still here for all your holiday and travel needs and will start posting some amazing content and offers for you to enjoy.

I work closely with my clients to tailor the perfect holiday around them – whether it be a family holiday, a bucket list trip of a lifetime or a city break. I have also arranged many weddings abroad. Just like a new suit - one holiday does not fit all!

I have access to a huge range of tour operators and suppliers at my fingertips so why spend hours on the internet when I can do the searching for you.
My clients are my business and I treat every booking or enquiry as if it were my own. I look after your booking right to the very end. I will help with your online check in, printing boarding passes, and if it’s a special occasion I will let the hotel know in advance.
