🎵Matinée: Classical & Contemporary Concerts are back at Tŷ Pawb!

Kicking off June 12th, join us every other Wednesday from 1-2pm for a perfect lunchtime escape. Enjoy a variety of live music performances in our Performance Space.

Announcing the new season of Matinée: Classical & Contemporary Concerts at Tŷ Pawb

Our summer 2024 programme of lunchtime classical and contemporary concerts kicks off on Wednesday June 12th and features live music performances from a diverse range of musicians and genres.

You can attend these concerts spontaneously on your lunch break, the programme lasts 40 to 50 minutes and often showcases chamber music, piano recitals, folk music, classical guitar and classical duos. Performances are every other Wednesday between 1pm and 2pm in our Performance Space, entry is via donations.

As you would expect of a lunchtime concert, our food court will be open serving a variety of delicious food and drink offerings. You also might want to make time to visit the gallery before or after the concert.

On Wednesday 12/06 we welcome Juanjo Blazques to Tŷ Pawb who will be performing a solo piano recital. Juanjo has performed all over Spain and UK, and the ALTI Hall in Kyoto. Juanjo performed as a soloist Tchaikovsky’s 1st Piano Concerto at Madrid’s National Auditorium with the María Rodrigo Symphony Orchestra, and with Getafe Symphony Orchestra. Furthermore, he performed Mozart Concerto in D minor with Salford Symphony Orchestra and Tchaikovsky again with Aylesbury Symphony Orchestra. In UK Juanjo is part of the Talent Unlimited charity.

Cyhoeddi tymor newydd Matinée: Cyngherddau Clasurol a Chyfoes Tŷ Pawb

Mae ein rhaglen haf 2024 o gyngherddau clasurol a chyfoes amser cinio yn cychwyn ddydd Mercher Mehefin 12fed ac yn cynnwys perfformiadau cerddoriaeth fyw gan ystod amrywiol o gerddorion a genres.

Gallwch fynychu'r cyngherddau hyn yn ddigymell ar eich egwyl ginio, mae'r rhaglen yn para 40 i 50 munud ac yn aml yn arddangos cerddoriaeth siambr, datganiadau piano, cerddoriaeth werin, gitâr glasurol a deuawd clasurol. Mae'r perfformiadau bob yn ail ddydd Mercher rhwng 1pm a 2pm yn ein Lle Perfformio, mae mynediad trwy roddion.

Fel y byddech yn ei ddisgwyl mewn cyngerdd amser cinio, bydd ein llys bwyd ar agor gyda amrywiaeth o offrymau bwyd a diod blasus. Efallai y byddwch hefyd am wneud amser i ymweld â'r oriel cyn neu ar ôl y cyngerdd.

Ddydd Mercher 12/06 rydym yn croesawu Juanjo Blazques i Tŷ Pawb a fydd yn perfformio datganiad piano unigol. Mae Juanjo wedi perfformio ledled Sbaen a'r DU, a Neuadd ALTI yn Kyoto. Perfformiodd Juanjo Concerto Piano 1af Tchaikovsky yn Awditoriwm Cenedlaethol Madrid gyda Cherddorfa Symffoni María Rodrigo, a gyda Cherddorfa Symffoni Getafe. Ar ben hynny, perfformiodd Concerto Mozart yn D minor gyda Salford Symphony Orchestra a Tchaikovsky eto gyda Aylesbury Symphony Orchestra. Yn y Deyrnas Unedig, mae Juanjo yn rhan o elusen Talent Unlimited.

The hugely popular Tŷ Pawb Open is a biennial, open submission art competition whereby artists are invited to submit up to three artworks for consideration for display in our open exhibition. The 2022 Open attracted over 4,500 visitors.

The competition is an opportunity for all professional and amateur Artists to display their work side by side in our award winning gallery and have a chance to win one of this year’s three prizes.

📅 Deadline for entries: Saturday 31st August 2024

🎨 Exhibition dates: 16th November 2024 – 8th February 2025
