Haven't been up on posting updates this year, been a bit flat out to be honest. However, we like this post of one of our 40ft by 60ft traditional marquees up at St Levan Sports day this weekend.

NEW HIRE STOCK AT PENGELLY EVENT HIRE
Now this is something behold, possibly the best brazier you’ll ever see – and certainly the most famous. This beauty is almost a metre across and 70cm tall and has been in Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon as well as the Gwenno video Tesor. Certainly a talking point and a great wedding / event feature.

Sure, we said as long as it's not too much of a run.
Bit more of a slope than what we anticipated, but managed to make it look OK - just don't lean back on your chair if your back is facing downwards...

Been a bit busy with the erecting marquees / delivering hire stock, but here's a few pictures we managed to take so far this summer. So, left to right / top to bottom, putting a marquee up at Hendra Holiday Park for a Caribbean party, view from the decks of a 40ft by 60ft, the same 40ft by 60ft (this is a large tent, so when saying 'can we have the biggest you've got' be aware that 100 people in a 400 capacity tent can look sparse, our drapes, overlooking the north coast - great location, but darn windy, a 16ft square used as a changing room by a stage and all set for the TNT rave at Zennor this weekend,

New in stock and for hire; round trestle tables in three sizes. 6ft, 5ft 6in and 5ft.

New hire stock. A splendid banqueting table that can be used as a four-section 6.2m by 1.2m layout, or a 4.4m by 1.2m three-section table.
Ideal for a wedding head table or a buffet food table.
*Cat not included in the hire.

This has to be the last marquee we're putting up in 2022, surely? Nice 9m by 6m clearspan for Ian over at The Fountain Inn, Newbridge. They'll be making good use of the tent with live music and other events over the festive period, while also serving great food. Their beer is good as well, and helped make the wet weather more tolerable during construction.

...and that's it, it's a wrap - all marquees and event hire stock cleaned and stored away for the winter.
It's been our busiest year ever, which isn't surprising due to the pandemic backlog of events, with many weddings and parties as well as larger events like Boardmasters, Tropical Pressure, TNT, Orbital Gathering, The Great Estate, Tunes in the Park, Little Orchard Cider Festival, We***ck and others all hiring marquees or other items (tables, chairs, benches and flooring seemed to be in short supply this year).
Big thanks for all the teams who worked on the marquees and bars this year. See you all in a field in 2023...
