Distant memories are the days when balloons from Balloon Inspirations would transform events in massive halls and hotels into an experience that your guests could remember and talk about for a very long time. Nowadays, my balloons are about helping people to make a family member or good friend, feel very special on their celebration day. I am a professional balloon decorator, who's been providing

high quality balloon dΓ©cor around Durham, and on many occasions, across the North East, since 2011. To comply with Government's lockdown rules, I can take orders online and by phone, accept contactless payments and do contactless hand-over of balloons.

Members of the public can have their say on plans to redevelop the former Durham Light Infantry (DLI) Museum and Art Gallery into an exhibition centre, gallery, cafΓ© and restaurant.

In March this year, our Cabinet approved proposals to redevelop the building for cultural use.

While The Story at Mount Oswald will be the permanent home for the DLI collection, following its expected opening to the public in 2023, the site at Aykley Heads will include space for a DLI Gallery.

A pre-planning consultation on the proposed redevelopment of the former museum and art gallery building begins this week.

Balloon Inspirations (Durham) was established in the 90’s and I was over the moon to become the new owner in 2011, and have continued to create balloon decor with all of the love and passion that I would show if the decor were for my own celebration.

I specialise in providing high quality, precision crafted balloon decorations perfect for large corporate events through to small close family celebrations at home.
