We are particularly careful in selecting our poster distributors, they need to be very polite but also very confident and persistent. This ensures, a very high success rate getting posters displayed! Well designed posters. Make, a world of difference to the success of your event. The design of the events poster is often intentionally cryptic. Sometimes, Poster campaigns use poster designs that are simple. large letters may be chosen to give maximum impact. More often than not, it is about getting a good balance of style and impact. Keeping, the main points highly visible the most important part of poster design. POSTER ADVERTISING SLOGAN
The title, advertising slogan for the poster campaign are important. Also, the date and the event’s venue. These, are important bits of information that should be instantly visible on your poster. Keeping the information on the events poster to a bare minimum helps to reduce clutter. If using more than a few words on your poster it’s best to use both capital and lowercase lettering. Capitals on the poster are best used for emphasis or to attract attention. Lettering should be correctly spaced so it is easy to read. Posters are often seen from distance so the right colours are important to draw you in. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS FOR YOUR POSTER CAMPAIGN
Think about, what your poster will look like behind glass. Because, posters will often be placed in shop windows. Also, primary colours can be seen easily. However, light colours are usually not very good in poster design. Because, the text is harder to see unless a dark contrasting background is used. Therefore, the text on the posters should always have enough contrast to make it stand out. When designing the poster for your poster campaign. You should, also consider everything else that will be in shop windows. Simply put, your poster design needs to stand out from the crowd. QR CODES ON POSTERS

We've been using a helpful tool to determine the populations within the event's target radius. Here is an example of two events we are advertising for George Irvin's Funfairs this Easter: One in Inner London and one in the suburbs, showing similar populations even though the suburban event's target area is 4 times as large! It's also quite fun comparing the so-claimed metro populations of cities worldwide

Staff wanted! Are you interested in becoming a poster distributor, also known as a biller? A-Z Poster Distribution is a leading advertising company for circuses, fairgrounds, and theatres in the UK and the largest in London.
As a poster distributor, you will approach different shops and businesses to ask owners or staff if you can display posters and leaflets to promote upcoming events to the general public. It's an exciting way to see new places, as you'll usually work under a manager in a small team and visit different places every day, meeting various new and exciting people.
One of our managers will provide full on-the-job training, and you'll also work alongside more experienced staff until you're fully competent. As a poster distributor, you'll be expected to be polite to everyone you meet during your poster campaign. This can sometimes be difficult, as some shopkeepers may be rude when rejecting the request to display a poster. However, a positive outlook and polite banter can often be enough to persuade them to change their minds.

Poster distribution and event publicity has been in our founder Zed’s blood since he was a kid. He grew up on Carters Steam Fair and has been involved in running, promoting and advertising events all his life. One of his first jobs in event publicity was handing out leaflets dressed as a clown aged eight. Over the years he became more and more involved in advertising the fair until taking over all the poster distribution in the early 90’s. Carters Steam Fair was a huge success over the years, much of this success was due to the unique advertising skills of Zed. He did this until 2009 when he left the fair and later founded A-Z Poster Distribution in 2010. Zed is very proud of where he came from and although no longer involved is very proud of Carters Steam Fair.
The Billposters
Zed believes he benefits from seeing the effect of a good poster campaign from seeing it from the clients side as Zed also ran fairground rides and stalls on the fair. Although unlike other billers (poster distributors), while Zed was at Carter’s Steam Fair he was only doing the billing for one company. He was well-known and respected for his poster distribution skills throughout the fun-fair and Circus community. On Carters Steam Fair Zed had a team of poster distributors he called on to help him put up the posters for the fair. Some have stuck with him and are an integral part of A-Z Poster Distribution billing for funfairs, circuses, festivals, sporting events, theatre and many other types of events
