TWIA can help in different ways - your social media reach, enquiries from the TWIA directory, couples' feedback to name just a few 💪
✨ Boutique Bakery Chester, Cake Designer @boutiquebakery_chester on Insta
“It’s great, it’s a massive positive from the social media. You are incredibly good at like re-sharing everything on Instagram and everything. And so the spread is fantastic.
The Directory is incredibly useful. I’ve had couples who’ve come to me directly from the Directory and they’ve said they’ve used it because they wanted to get some of the best people in the North West and they found me through that. So it’s always been massively positive. That’s why I keep entering.”
✨ The Feel Good Florist, Florist
“Do you know, I ended a week before they closed, I had a dream about it, so I just felt like I had to do it. I thought why not? You know, I’ve had some lovely reviews off my couples, so I thought, well, I’ve got a chance. I may as well give it a go.”
✨ Rownhams House, Venue (Historic Building)
“It’s the first time we’ve entered and it just felt like it was the awards to enter, it’s the one where the couples actually vote for you. So we thought we’d give it a try and we’ve come out on top, which is fabulous.”

Damian clarifies TWIA terms: Enter v Nominate v Vote
👉 Entering TWIA - To be in with a chance of winning or benefitting from all the other aspects of TWIA, you need to enter your business into the awards.
Click on the Enter button on our website, fill in the various forms that you need to fill in, pay the entry fee and you are entered into the awards.
👉 Nominating a Wedding Business - This is simply a means by which anybody can tell us about great wedding businesses that they know.
Anybody can nominate any wedding supplier. That nominee then receives an email saying, Hey, you’ve been nominated, this is who nominated you and this is what they said about you, and they then decide whether to enter the awards or not.
So nominating someone is not the same as entering them into the awards.
👉 Voting for a Wedding Business - Voting is done by the recent clients of wedding businesses who have entered the Awards.
Once you’ve entered, we’ll give you a link that you can send to all your wedding couples who got married between 2nd October 2023 and 30th September 2024. These are your voting couples for the current awards, one vote per couple and only after their wedding. Nominations do not count towards the awards, only these votes.
✨ TWIA 2025 Lowdown:
- Your wedding couples married between 2nd October 2023 and 30th September 2024 are eligible to vote for you in this year’s awards
- Entries and nominations close on 23rd September
- Voting closes one week later on 30th September
- The judging process then begins
- Regional finalists will be announced online in early October
- Regional winners are awarded at our regional events throughout November
- Links for nominating, entering and all about the Awards and Regional Events are in our bio

TWIA can help your wedding business in so many different - getting more clients, keeping you focussed on your business, what you do for your couples and your reflection on how far your business has come AND most importantly, your self-worth,
✨ Luna And The Lane, Wedding Planner & Stylist
“I've been seeing a lot of my fellow suppliers enter it year on year, and from the gains that they get from it in terms of sort of their own self-worth and being able to get more clients and things like that, it's been really sort of noticeable. And, you know, seeing all their sort of little certificates around and their awards has been lovely. So that sort of spurred me on, but also, it's just really nice to get a pat on the back sometimes, isn't it?”
✨ Enhanced Entertainment, Wedding DJs
“TWIA is amazing. They really focus on the best bits of the competition and your business. It's not just about the votes, it's about everything you enter into with your couples, and so they look at your social media, your website, and it keeps us focused on providing the best for our customers.
✨ Burlton Manor, Venue (Barn)
“I think it was just we got to a point with where we were, and we thought, "We're good enough to be here." I know that might sound a bit silly, but I suppose we were a bit worried that we couldn't be here, but then after doing a little bit of research, we thought, "No, yeah, we're gonna go for it."

TWIA can give couples the confidence to book you 🤩
✨ Queen Bee Bridal, Bridal Retailer (est. less than 4 years)
“Absolutely, absolutely. Any kind of consumer confidence is a bonus. It's a hotly contested industry. There's a huge amount of boutiques out there and some of them doing a fabulous job. And to be able to even just get through to the finals in such a prestigious award and again, get that consumer confidence of our brides has been a huge help and a huge bonus. And to even have a little something that we can put on a chest of drawers in the boutique has been fantastic. So yeah, definitely.”
✨ David Boynton Wedding Photography + Film, Photographer
“Massively, hence why I enter annually. The amount of enquiries, bookings as a result of entering to TWIA is the main reason. And obviously, the opportunity to win is a great feeling as well.”

TWIA helps you to celebrate how far your wedding business has come 🤩
✨ Lucent Hair & Makeup by Alice Maria, Make Up Artist
“What motivated me to enter was just knowing how highly esteemed the awards is in the wedding industry. Everyone knows about it, and it was the first time I've applied, but I know other people that have done so before and have just raved about what it means in the industry, and how much has helped them in their business so I thought it was about time I did it too."
✨ The Little Wedding Warehouse, Special Touch
“So we've been going for five years now, and we've never entered an awards, and I just think it's lovely to celebrate when we put so much work into it and when you work for yourself, you don't get that recognition really. So it's just nice to put yourself out there and, yeah, it paid off.”

Couples voting and feedback are central to The Wedding Industry Awards 🤩
✨ Treseren Cornwall, Venue (Historic Building)
“I think we researched a lot to find out what awards are really valuable in the industry, and I think what's shone out from the TWIA Awards is that they are couple voted for, and we have a huge commitment to our couples and all our guests, and we wanted to see where we would land in it and how the feedback would come back to us, and we are really excited that we can get to read that after the awards. And it just felt like the awards that we should enter and see what happened.”
✨ Singing Waiters UK, Special Touch
“I just think it's such a prestigious award, it is so well-known to everyone in the wedding industry. It's based on real bride and groom's feedback, I think it's the award everybody wants to win.”
✨ Love Wedding Cakes by Amber Briggs, Cake Designer
“I think anyone likes to choose someone or associate with someone who's won an award or even just put themselves forward for an award, so yeah, yeah, it's all positive.”

So we're definitely gonna keep in contact. It's just such a wonderful industry to be in, and it really reinforces it tonight, being at these awards.”

TWIA can help you put your business on the map 📍
✨ AVE Creations, Wedding Planner
“I'm hoping that future couples will see this award and it will make me more reputable in their eyes, and also, just for them to see how much hard work I put into what I do, and I'll be able to share what the couples have said about me.”
✨ Along Came Eve Bridal Boutique, Bridal Retailer (est. more than 4 years)

✨ Winters Barns, Venue (Barn)

Have you seen your industry friends entering TWIA and thought, ‘I want some of that recognition for my business’?
✨Grace & Cake, Cake Designer
“So loads of my supplier friends were entering and they've had success in the past with TWIA. And I just thought, do you know what, I know I'm a really small fish in a really big pond, actually, I really, really care about all my couples and I'm so passionate about what I do. That actually, I do have a chance and I've gotta believe in myself and I'm so pleased I did.”
✨ Wedding Hair By Emma (Emma Forletta), Hair Stylist
“Oh, because loads of my famous hairstyling counterparts have been over the years awarded for so many great things through the TWIA and I really wanted to be part of it this year. I had so many of my brides this year really give me a load of commendation, and I was thinking, maybe this year could be my year.”
✨ Milton End Farm Exclusive Wedding Venue and Holiday Barns, Venue (Barn)
“We've seen it come up with a lot of suppliers that have come to the barn so far, and it seems like a hugely fair award in the way that it's judged. So we thought, do you know what, why not? So we went in, feet first, entered, and here we are.”
