What a day returning family Kathryn, Grace and new addition puppy Dougle had amongst the bluebells.

They say never work with children and animals but Grace and I have worked together before and she couldn't be better in front of my cameras. Dougle is an energetic puppy to shoot but it was his first time and he learnt well. He turned out to be very photogenic.

I achieved the brief of capturing atmospheric images in the Bluebells with plenty of smiles, laughter and fun, a good catch up and all within an hour.

A simple set up, easily replicated for your family, a single light, softbox and the trunk of funk as a prop to sit on.

This could and should be your family shoot, an hour in the great outdoors in the afternoon light with cake if your lucky afterwards. What's not to like, it beats sitting indoors wondering what to do and you will have a great time I promise.
