So the decorations and lights are down but the people over in The Grosvenor Centre Gnosall haven't quite finished partying. As we were packing down from NYE, we were asked if we could do a 60s/70s theme party. I wasn't available but Jamie stepped in and ran it himself. We must have done something right on NYE because not only did we do this last night, but ACP Bars & Events have asked us back again in a couple of months for an 80s night! See you all there 🥳

Talk about going out with a bang! Our last gig of the year was NYE at The Grosvenor Centre Gnosall. The night started with a set by accoustic guitarist John Sewell Music before the disco. From start to finish people were up on the floor and dancing to some great music, mostly from 60s-80s plus the inevitable cheesey classics. Thanks to Jordan Archer for booking us for the night. See you in a couple of weeks for a 60s/70s party!

Happy birthday for last week to Hannah Brown! Our final party before Christmas was a very special 50th for Hannah, organised by daughter Elise Brown and husband Tony Brown and held over at the Newport Salop Cricket Club. Definitly NOT your usual birthday party last night over at Whitchurch Rugby Club ... No dance. No motown. No disco... and absolutely NO CHEESE! Instead it was an all night rock & metal fest with some great tunes requested by Alycia Gott & Smiffy Loud as their friends gathered to pay their respects to Smiffy's "Death of the 20s". Jamie & I were out at Bagley Sports & Social Club last night hosting a Race Night for The Robertsons raising money in aid of Guide Dogs in memory of Summer Leigh. Over 100 people attended the event and along with the usual racing we had our signature music quiz, musical bingo and scratch card lottery which raised a magnificant £1100 and when matched with race sponsorship and the raffle the final total for the night was close to £2500! Last night we were at The Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort who hosted 83 St Georges Squadron Air Training Corps for their Annual Dining-In & Awards Presentation Night in the company of their OC, Flt Lt Kyle Matty and their VIP guest Lt. Col Samantha Brettell DL, Deputy Lieutenant of Shropshire. A great time was had by all and congratulations to all of the uniformed & civilian instructing staff, the parents who support their children and most importantly, the cadets themselves who, simply by being a part of the Cadet Forces prove that we can all be just that little bit better than the rest.

Congratulations to Kerry Nixon & Alex Tranter who tied the Knot on Friday and celebrated with a reception at Castle Hall in Bridgnorth surrounded by all of their family & friends. Old School Entertainment joined in the fun providing one of our photo booths for the event so everyone could don some silly specs, grab a prop and pose like a boss!! Great night and a really fun crowd to be with!
