WHAT A HOT STICKY MESS after this morning’s set up at Long Marsden church..tmi I guess but just letting you know it’s not all pretty playing with flowers, it’s bloody hard back breaking work especially in the heat..obviously no other pictures..drove a mile back just to get these cos I forgot..I needed coffee and breakfast!! Note to self..self care!!

Can’t wait to see the ‘proper’ pics from …so lovely to see you this morning, thank you, not, for taking a picture of me in aforementioned sweaty state!!

I’VE BEEN SO QUIET on Instagram but so so busy with weddings, keeping on top of work in .flower.field and personal challenges..so here’s a snapshot of what’s been happening this month..
•100% of our ‘weekend’ bunches are now (and will be until probably November) 100% locally grown flowers from - fresh as a daisy I’d like to say!!
•weddings coming out of our ears (and funerals unfortunately), as they should be..it’s high season after all
(for weddings).
•a slipped disc..not ideal
•an abundance of peonies from the field which we bunched up for our lovely locals.
•Fenton & Boots loving the lazy summer days, and remarkably tolerating each other..
•lots more I’m sure but that’s a brief resume of the month so far.

Happy rest of June in case it passes me by!

I HOPE YOU’RE AS FULL as these *two after a choctastic long weekend!
Not so much R&R for me but lists ticked, a quick trip to Beningbough Hall to see the blossom and cut/pulled & delivered hundreds of tulips from .flower.field to so they can do their magic at this week.
Back to it tomorrow..it’s the summer term so let see more of that gorgeous sunshine ☀️

AND JUST LIKE THAT SPRING (I’m saying that tentatively) seems to have appeared. March is the most unpredictable but exciting month..the start of spring or the depths of winter, the clocks changing, the evenings becoming lighter, pancake day and Easter to name but a few (and my birthday!)
I’m hoping the adage ‘in like a lion, out like a lamb’ with reference to the weather, doesn’t apply in reverse as it’s been a crackingly lovely start to the month ☀️.
To celebrate Mother’s Day at the end of March we’ve a dizzying array of offerings!..bouquets, candles, subscriptions, British flowers, vases, plants..you name it - we’ve got it, and we’d love you to shop local!

Shop online, phone us or pop in. We’re taking orders now and will be delivering locally all weekend for Mother’s Day. You can also ‘click and collect’ if that’s better (obviously not if you live in Devon, or France or in fact anywhere other than nearby or if you’re passing!)

I’M SORRY, I’m still not loving the new insta rectangles..so I’m still going to post squares despite the overview images not being..so click on the image and I’m still square!!
I love squares..my logo’s square, my shop signs are square, my business cards, my van is as square as a van can be and when insta started they were square..bloody hell!! May get over it by May..when incidentally I’m brewing a rather spectacular wedding avec une amie who may or may not want to be named so I won’t for now!!

WE DON’T FOLLOW CONVENTION.. romance doesn’t have to mean red roses*..it can mean many things and certainly doesn’t have to be or should be dictated by a date on the calendar..although this is very helpful for our cash flow!
Many people celebrate and many refuse to (good luck!!), we’ll be helping those who do and suggesting those who don’t to do so even if it’s a candle to light a romantic meal or a wool throw to snuggle under.
I think lilac/mauve/lavender is way more romantic than red so here’s an idea of my Valentine’s selection! Fire off a share to your other halves!!

You can order online, on the phone or just pop into the shop..it’ll be full yo bursting this week!
