I HAVE DOUBLE TROUBLE in the shop today if anyone needs a cuddle or a lick (they do the licking!!)

They’re wearing their shiny new autumnal collars from ..such posers..if any of you know Boots you’ll know this wasn’t an easy shot..fifteenth attempt!!

By the way..Boot’s mum has just had a litter yesterday..all black, 4 girls, one boy..message me if you want a Boots and I’ll put you in touch! Ready Christmas week!!

PS A dog is for life not just Christmas week obviously!

AUTUMN DOESN’T JUST MEAN orange and brown to me. Seasonal bouquets at this time of year are full of rich deep colours and every shade in between.
The dahlias are still giving their all from and the zinnias are still showing off their happy faces.

THE FIRST OF SEPTEMBER..the disappearing light, the conkers, the cooler winds, the start of term (hooray!), Christmas wreath workshops popping up everywhere!!! (I know 🙈)

WHAT A HOT STICKY MESS after this morning’s set up at Long Marsden church..tmi I guess but just letting you know it’s not all pretty playing with flowers, it’s bloody hard back breaking work especially in the heat..obviously no other pictures..drove a mile back just to get these cos I forgot..I needed coffee and breakfast!! Note to self..self care!!

Can’t wait to see the ‘proper’ pics from …so lovely to see you this morning, thank you, not, for taking a picture of me in aforementioned sweaty state!!

I’VE BEEN SO QUIET on Instagram but so so busy with weddings, keeping on top of work in .flower.field and personal challenges..so here’s a snapshot of what’s been happening this month..
•100% of our ‘weekend’ bunches are now (and will be until probably November) 100% locally grown flowers from - fresh as a daisy I’d like to say!!
•weddings coming out of our ears (and funerals unfortunately), as they should be..it’s high season after all
(for weddings).
•a slipped disc..not ideal
•an abundance of peonies from the field which we bunched up for our lovely locals.
•Fenton & Boots loving the lazy summer days, and remarkably tolerating each other..
•lots more I’m sure but that’s a brief resume of the month so far.

Happy rest of June in case it passes me by!

I HOPE YOU’RE AS FULL as these *two after a choctastic long weekend!
Not so much R&R for me but lists ticked, a quick trip to Beningbough Hall to see the blossom and cut/pulled & delivered hundreds of tulips from .flower.field to so they can do their magic at this week.
Back to it tomorrow..it’s the summer term so let see more of that gorgeous sunshine ☀️
