I’m not sure I can quite believe it but the schedule doesn’t lie and we delivered 270 performance slots in two days plus half a dozen interactive areas at this year’s Epsom Derby. A massive 140+ of us on site across build and event days and every single person played their part in giving race goers a truly incredible experience.
Very proud, very grateful. 2023’s Derby will be one that sticks in the memory for a long time.
Grand National number 8 is officially complete. Immensely proud of everyone involved in what we delivered. Very lucky to have such an exceptional team around me!
Clients, colleagues and suppliers will recognise the wonderful Holly from the time she has spent on site with me over the years and I couldn’t be happier that she is now joining the team on an ongoing basis!
Working with Hol is always a joy and I am thrilled that she’ll be helping to deliver a brilliant 2023.

For a few years now, I’ve opted not to send Christmas cards and instead to make a donation to a charity or non-profit that I care about.
This year, the end of my first full year as part of Team NOWIE - The Network of Women in Events, it was an easy choice.

It’s been three years since the last full scale Derby and the Platinum Jubilee gave us all the perfect opportunity to come back with a bang. It’s been a truly incredible weekend at Epsom Downs Racecourse - there is nowhere I’d rather have spent this once-in-a-lifetime bank holiday weekend.
Sending powering-through vibes to all those up to their eyes in crazy numbers of emails, endless spreadsheets and no time to sleep. Hands up who has missed the madness of a summer season 🙋🏼♀️

It’s been such a treat to be back at Aintree Racecourse this week. As ever, I’m insanely grateful to my whole team, suppliers, entertainers and of course the racecourse. Same time next year!?

March has absolutely flown by… but it was great to kickstart the month participating in this discussion on the role of fanzones at sports events at the Event Production Show.
And speaking of sporting events… this time next week will be on the way to Aintree Racecourse for the Grand National!

As part of a project for next month’s International Women’s Day, we are looking for performers who can fill the following briefs. You must be available on Saturday 5th March and ideally be confident with an element of improvisation.
- A white woman in her 30s or 40s with dark hair. Genuine wheelchair and / or crutches user.
- A white woman of Polish heritage in her 30s or 40s with dark hair. Ideally also a Polish speaker.

2022 sees Accept turning 10. I can’t believe it!!
I have everything crossed for a “normal” year that will allow me to celebrate throughout the next twelve months but I’ve kicked things off with these lovely treat boxes that have been landing on the desks and doormats of people who’ve been part of the story so far. Without each of them (and many others!), the past ten years would not have happened.

Events at home are always great and this light installation at Newark Castle is no exception! Two weeks of feeling festive for everyone who gets to enjoy it in this beautiful space.
There's still a stack of work to do before the Christmas break but I'm slowly starting to tick off jobs from the pre-Christmas to-do list. Today, my in-lieu-of-Christmas-cards donation, this year going to Shout.

This autumn couldn’t be more different to autumn 2020 if it tried! It’s great to see things picking up again but wow, things are flat out. Current state of affairs: never far from my phone and laptop, and permanently scribbling in a never ending to-do list!

18 months on from launching Palace Theatre Newark’s centenary celebrations, last night we were finally able to open the exhibition part of the hundredth year. After so long dark, every opportunity for this stage to be used feels like such a treat!
