🫶Support new music!

I've released my fair share of remixes and edits over the years, and there's no doubt they're a big part of dance music culture - especially in the heat of a set, where dropping a classic can really light up the room.

But for me, making and breaking original music will always be the backbone of what we do.

Tracks like 'Gypsy Woman', 'You Don't Know Me', 'Finally', and 'Show Me Love' - these are timeless songs that still fill dancefloors today because they were fresh, bold, and original when they dropped. That's the magic of dance music: creating something to make people move, seeing people react, and hopefully leaving a legacy.

But let's be real, it's not easy to 'beat the algorithm' these days. Social media rewards familiarity - posts about classic tracks or edits often blow up because they hit that dopamine trigger of recognition. Meanwhile, sharing brand-new music, stuff people don't already know, can feel like shouting into the void. But this is exactly why supporting original music is so important.

It's how we move the culture forward and create the next wave of classics that will stand the test of time.

This is my reminder to keep championing fresh sounds and celebrating creativity that makes our scene
