We are all still in shock and struggling to come to terms with the news of George’s passing. He was family, one of the crew. Whether he was taking care of a patron, outdancing them, or giving the DJs a pep talk before their set, George was always in the heart of the action. He was a business brain, a financial genius, and a friend who always put others first, never stopping to show off photos of his son. We will miss you, George. You treated us all with love and respect. Now, it is our turn to honour your memory.

Rest well. Thank you for your love. ❤️

BANTU means people in over 500 languages across Africa. We chose the word to Celebrate – People, Culture and Music.

From developing concepts, to planning events and throwing fantastic parties our ethos has always been centred around bringing people together to create a Celebration.

Established in October 2008 initially on a Friday, BANTU came about from our desire for a regular club and social event catering for those who love Africa and want to know more about its People, Music & Culture and anyone who just wants to have a good time, in a quality venue, surrounded by fun loving friendly people. Every first Saturday of the of the month BANTU is still London’s hottest “AfroWestern” fusion club night.

BANTU is always hosted in an exclusive and carefully selected venue. We have 4 DJ’s on rotation and a hosting team that looks after our patrons all night long. The night attracts a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds. Every BANTU includes a number of segments dedicated to a selection of African music not to be matched anywhere in London along with the best selection of Old Skool, and the latest Hip Hop and R&B. We’ll have you on the dance floor before you can say… “Good times!”
