John Young Photography My name is John Young and working with my wife Katie we photograph weddings in and around County Dur

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life so its very important to have a photographer who is professional, friendly, courteous and unobtrusive. But its also important that you are comfortable with your photographer so I always try and have some fun on the day after all your wedding day should be as stress free as possible. On the wedding day my wife Katie and I work together

capturing the story of your day as it unfolds. Capturing all those never to be repeated moments of laughter, fun and maybe some tears. We of course photograph the formal poses but we also capture you both on your own creating some fun and loving and intimate poses that will capture your personality and give you photographs to treasure.

Katie and I have been photographing weddings around Durham and the north east for many years and with the majority of our work coming from recommendations from previous customers which is something we are very proud of. As a full time wedding photographer I can focus all my attention on your wedding day and it doesn't matter how big or small your wedding is it will be unique and have its own story to tell.
