We organise and promote the we are handmade Craft Fairs and also run an on-line shop for handmade products.

The Fairs will take place in High Street locations in a selection of Essex and Suffolk towns, with the emphasis on bringing together modern designers and makers with people keen on fresh, original and well designed handcrafted items. We are now in the tenth year of organising these events.

Our website is closing on Monday, which means there is still time to purchase some beautiful handmade pieces from our website today.

We'd like to thank everyone who has attended our fairs over the years, whether as a stallholder, caterer or visitor. We had a great time organising & promoting these events & met some lovely people.

Thank you also to the makers who have let us sell their work in our shop.

Our Shop will be closing at midnight on the 22nd September. After running the we are handmade fairs & online shop for over 13 years, it's going to be a sad day.

Please take a look at the shop as there's some lovely, handcrafted pieces by very talented artists & makers. A few of our makers, like Peter Deans Ceramics & Grumpy's Woodturning, do not have websites, so this shop offers the opportunity to buy from them.

It was quite a while ago when we took stock of a range of beautiful pottery pieces from Peter Dean's Ceramics. We now have very few items left. Peter's salt pigs & dishes have been very popular, with most of the glazes selling out - we do have a few still available including the speckled brown salt dishes & a couple of blue/brown glazed salt pigs.

We close at the end of August, so this is your last chance to buy some of Peter Deans' work online.

Peter is a highly experienced potter who grew up in New Zealand, sharing studios with other Potters in Christchurch, before moving to the UK, where he worked for Chelsea Pottery.

Nowadays, Peter is based on the Essex coast, near Maldon, and is a member of the Essex Craft Guild & East Anglian Potters.

It doesn't feel much like summer at the moment ,& although it's not quite cold enough for gloves today, we are sharing these wonderful knitted mittens. Created by Suffolk maker, Helen Christian, they are made using handspun alpaca wool from the Yew Tree Flock.

As we will shortly be closing we are handmade, this will be your last chance to purchase a pair of lovely, soft, handmade mittens. We have a few pairs in stock, plus some great woollen Beanie Sheep.
