Painting the staff at Soho farmhouse for their Halloween/Day of the dead Ball. To create an impact all the staff had the same designs and keeping with the colour palette of Oranges, pinks, purple.

Is it difficult to paint yourself? Yes!

It’s been a while since I’ve done a skull and I got a bit carried away the other evening. 😉 This took about an hour for the face and another 20mins for the chest. I was taking it slowly and carefully though using a reference picture of a real skull.

This was the evening I had a revelation… Since starting up I’ve always taken my whole kit to every job - this 3 bags, table and chair. It’s been my security blanket - as I’ve got everything that I’d ever need for any design. But this job because I couldn’t park nearby and unload so I had to reduce it right down. I LOVED IT - I think I did some of my best eye designs and it took me 5 minutes to set up and pack away. What’s more the guests were so happy with their designs. I had such a long queue that I had to close it 40mins before the end to avoid disappointment! (There were 300 people there!) Feeling much more confident with my mini kit.
