We had a busy market yesterday. These markets are hard work for everyone involved but are such fun too. We have the most awesome stall holders who are amazing at what they do. Our lovely pie lady (The House of Pie) will need to leave early so if you want to buy one of her yummy pies before they a) sell out or b) she has to dash off please don’t leave it too late!

Monday is market day.......August 19th!
Here is a revised list of all the stall holders currently booked for August
As always, we have an abundance of goodies available for you to buy, an eclectic mix of beautiful hardy plants, arts and crafts and yummy foodstuffs, charcuterie, cheeses, jams and preserves, cakes and pies…… all locally sourced, produced and crafted with great skill, care and attention. I know I keep saying it but you just won’t get items like this on the high street. Shop local and support small businesses and enterprises!
Doors open to the public at 13:30. The tea urn will be on for refreshments, maybe even a sneaky wee biscuit too. You can sit and have a blether while you are here. Refreshments are free but if you wish to make a donation to the hall funds it would be most welcome.

I was surprised to see these at the Nip Inn this morning. I have no idea where they are headed but it is a fundraiser for Highland Hospice. At least the weather is nice for them. Keep an eye out and if you see them give them a toot, and maybe some cash too! I do love old tractors and cars! Sorry it will only let me post one video. Just a reminder that we will be closed over the festivities. Time for our staff to have a few well earned weeks off!
Just a reminder that the Centre will be closed over Christmas and New Year, from Saturday December 23rd through to Monday January 8th. We have however made an exception, due to the nature of the booking and time constraints on the care provider…… the Footcare Clinic will be going ahead on Saturday 23rd December in the Shin Suite 10am to 12.30pm.

New this month: A stall selling wood work and driftwood houses, Christmas cakes and other yummies A Parkinson’s fundraiser selling painted reclaimed slates Lairg and District Learning Centre with a swishing rail. If you don’t know what that is you’ll need to come along and find out!
It’s Market day and we’re almost ready for you! Come and see us in the Main Hall between 13:30 and 16:00. Have a brew and a natter, browse the stalls and start your Christmas shopping! The pies have arrived!! Mmmm nom nom…. Bet you can’t eat a whole one!! I did… it took me three days though 😂
